About this mod

Patches four different plasma caster mods from the Nexus to use Munitions plasma core ammo, plus some minor fixes/tweaks. Pick your plasma! FOMOD included.

Changelogs
All weapons were modified with the idea that 1 magazine should equal 1 plasma core. Both for lore reasons, and to avoid inventory clutter.
These patches also remove original ammo where applicable, including crafting and levelled list injection.

What this mod does NOT do: alter damage, aim/recoil, textures or models. Altering how the weapon handles is outside the purview of this mod, and altering visuals is outside my current skillset.

Contains patches for the following mods:

Heavy Energy Weapon Combo Deal


Tinkerer's Plasma Caster
- Base ammo capacity doubled (except the flamer)
- Large plasma tank increases capacity x1.5 rather than +5. Changed to correct miscmod.

Optional: Tesla Cannon
- Changed to 1 magazine = 1 fusion core (50 shots per core rather than 500)


Plasma Arsenal or Plasma Caster - Standalone


Plasma Caster
- Use one version or the other, they are not compatible.
- Fusion Core conversion changed to be in line with low damage receivers. (-50% damage, +50% capacity)


Winchester P94


Winchester P94
- Requires TmaxCreation's patch.
- Crafting fixed for power plant covers (now builds mods instead of misc items)
- Flamer capacity halved on Mk1. MK2 now doubles capacity for all barrels.


The P-113 - A highly moddable heavy Plasma Caster


P-113 Plasma Caster
- Weapon renamed to P-113 Plasma Caster to avoid possible conflict/confusion
- Built off of Aaron7491's patch. Will function without it (sans GammaClaw changes) but please download and endorse.
- Misc items added, renamed, and sorted for all weapon mods. Crafting now fully functional.
- Receiver mods reorganised and renamed to vanilla standards.
- Short barrels renamed to vanilla standards.
- Crafting requirements streamlined - more logical progression, removed outliers like nuclear physicist and strong back

Installation notes
Should be safe to install mid-playthrough. If you have one of these weapons equipped when you install it and it starts acting strangely, try dropping it and picking it up again.

These weapons should also be safe to use at the same time as each other, if you wish.

Future Plans
I'd like to revisit this at some point and change the ammunition models as well, when I learn how.
I also need to double check that any Fusion Core conversions are still capable of loading a full core, even with Nuclear Physicist perks.
Perhaps also make Nuclear Physicist extend Plasma Cores as well? Or a separate Plasma Physicist perk?

Another big learning experience! And I think less time wondering "why it no work???". Making patches like this has been very fun, but now I starting to wonder "what if I made something from scratch?". This is dangerous thinking, my ideas far outstrip my skills.
