For one thing, they have no gracefull exit so go into an infinite loop (spamming your papyrus logs and slowing down the scripting system) if something goes wrong. Removing the mod won't fix this. You then get this error 100's of times a second. Forever. [date - time] error: Cannot GetValue with None ActorValue stack: [ (FF017DEA)].Actor.GetValue() - "<native>" Line ? [Active effect 18 on (FF017DEA)].ToasterDT.OnTimer() - "<unknown file>" Line ?
I think i'm going to edit the script and such to atleast let through some damage even though the weapon has less damage, maybe like 10% or something like that, to make low level encounters with high level enemies still do a little damage. I like to grind and venture out on survival to the south of the map and expose myself to higher level enemies to see if i can surcive. Doing no damage at all would be kinda hurtfull for my ego.
I know this is just a resource, I have installed it and am applying the effect to some armour. I have found that if I give an NPC a single piece of armour with DT of 20 then I cannot hurt them with anything doing less damage than 20. would normally make sense but the NPC is wearing 1 piece of armour and should therefore only have protection in that area. Is this normal or is this a bug with how i have added the effect?
This is cool and all but... one damage resistance now against all types of damage? it basically massacres whole "damage types" system
Can there be made a version with damage type damage thresholds? e.g. for every type of damage - a separate threshold, so it'd actually make sense choosing damage type weapon attacks for different enemies
P.S. - Does the DT still work when the armor piece have been destroyed (its health goes to zero after you shoot it many times) ? Can you make it so it doesn't?

This is just a modders resource. Don't ask stupid questions.
