I am a Chinese, and all the songs in this song list have been widely spread in China. I am so moved to hear these songs in Fallout, which reminds me of my childhood. Xie Xie（thank）
I have not listened to this yet. I usually hate... absolutely hate 1960s Chinese music. I hate the commie stuff. "Socialism is good, socialism is good, Socialism will lead the /people. Communist Party is good, Communist Party is good. The capitalists will be overturned." Whatever.
About half the vanilla radio tracks are from before 1950s. There is little coming out of China during this period as it's in a 2 decade long war at that time. But before this there was a big jazz and music movement in the late 1920s. That would make a really fun radio station.
Well if only talking about music, it is sure that age in china they got a lot of thing to learn. But at the same time I concerns more about what their spirit can be seen or hear from these songs even without understanding the languages. Just like I really enjoys the American dream and free enterprise in 1920s and before too. Hearing people singing with hope and confidence about making a brighter future. And from a nother angle to think about these, the fallout series shows another America's and even world's future who lives in 1950s would imagine, as the bigest enemy of United States inthis fallout future, i though showing what chinese people will singing in the same ages is necessary and making this fallout world more close to a real world, not only a game world.
And I agree with that those songs that always praise the party,the leader kinda stuff is terrible. That is also the reason I love this list I ported into Fallout 4. It is more about telling story(well most are war stories about resistance and revolution) and show people's hope for brighter future.
I was exposed to the evilness committed in the name of socialism and hate this type of music. I was just giving the OP an ID of other types of music that could be quite good for Fallout and still fit in with the existing musically style.
Yeah I can understand part of your feeling cause I was also born in that kind of country which is disappeared now, with some different ansers after taking years to thinking about what happens though. But still I really understand those who do not like that kind of stuff, crime is still crime not matter how many times they said they were in good or noble purpose.

An obvious but little-known fact is that the army of the Japan Empire was the most cruel and brutal army in human history, even the SS could not compare to it, and Japanese imperialists never acknowledged this.
I think this mod is the best chinese radio in NEXUS. It shows the dream of chinses in 1960s and 1970s. Yeah, that's true. Though I actually not care about ideology stuff like socialism or capitalism instead of people's spirits during singing, which is far more important and higher than ideological things. if every politcal things is ultimately in purpose to learn to survive and communicate with people, why dont we just throw out those stuff and trying to think from beginning:How to stay good relationship with people who you care and love. How to survive and give ourselves a better life. And maybe we'll soon find that we are not divided that so much between people in east and west or different ideological things.
It can be all sorts of innocent reasons - Nexus can't scan corrupted file uploads, nested archives (zips within zips) nor accidentally password-protected archives, and so all three scenarios will flag up.
