I've had very bad experiences with f4se, i am able to mod a stable 1000+ hour game just fine without it. There's no need to debate it, just a personal choice.
Also I haven't delved into xedit.
I was just curious. Ty. I appreciate the work you put into your mods
I appreciate the help and ill end this here. I know how to use f4se and did so the first time i modded my game. had to wait on f4se updates multiple times. game slowly became unplayable after several hundred hours of gameplay. lots of mods that require f4se have bug reports or complaints in comments. the idea that any modded game is doomed to eventual failure is false. my last play thru I didn't use f4se, was over 1000 hrs. with 300+ mods. not one CTD, no bugs, nearly perfect. I don't use mods that have significant bug reports or complaints in posts. yes this means i miss out on many "fun" mods, but having a stable consistent game that has been modded and runs like it was made that way out of the box is very important for my need for escape. I know many people are very strong supporters of f4se and related mods and i respect that, but it is just not for me. thank you as always
Yeah, I don't think it's F4SE that's causing your issues. F4SE mods being buggy does not mean F4SE is buggy. You can install F4SE and MCM and not worry about a thing. Just don't install any other F4SE mods if you're concerned about them.
Are there advantages to using f4se that out weigh them having to update and making my game unplayable for days if I don't even use any of the mods associated with them? Sorry if I sound jaded but it is a sincere question. It never occurred to me that there might be anything to it unless a mod required it. Ty
love this mod. however im having an issue and not sure if its this mod yet. crouching in 3rd person seems to be bugged firing rate. standing in 3rd person, and both crouch/non crouch 1st person seem to work fine. as an example an automatic shotgun with a high fire rate only shoots about 2-4 times before stopping when its full auto, semi automatic weapons dont fire as fast as they can either.
Seriously a must have combined with your Cinematic Reloads! The effect occasionally triggers and ends late, but is otherwise perfect.
I only have one outlier of an issue, and that's with NovaFinch's Misriah Armory- specifically the M90 Shotgun. Both these mods treat every pump of the shotgun as a reload, causing the effects to trigger every shot. Would it be possible to exclude certain weapons from using your effects, or otherwise patch the issue? EDIT: This also applies to weapons using Bullet Counted Reloads. Got the same issue again but this time on Dak's Vintage Revolver Rifle.
There is a bad interaction with the Hoarder trait from Fallout London which prevents you from moving when over-encumbered (reducing SpeedMult when over-encumbered). However you can still move while shooting and reloading with your mod.
Two identical MGEF but with different IDs can't be active at the same time ? I couldn't figure out any explaination
I'm not sure but I think it may breaks "sprint reload" - is there a chance for a patch? if not so it be Together with the reload that prevents auto reload I really like what it does to the gun play
