About this mod

Adds a bunch of outfits inspired by the Kamen Rider franchise that can be crafted at any chemistry station.

Requirements
Permissions and credits

Everything can be crafted for free at any chemistry station in the HENSHIN! category.

The Outfits are separated into 4 parts that can be mixed and matched:

Helmet
Scarf
Gloves
Boots and Pants combo

Most helmets are based on some of my favorite Kamen Riders with their stats being a reference to when they appeared. The helmets make the wearer immune to stagger and also reduce explosion damage equivalent to the "Dense"  armor mod.

All Scarves give +2 damage and energy resist. They also increase charisma by 1.

All Gloves give +2 damage and energy resist. They also increase agility by 2.

All Boots and Pants combos give +120 damage and energy resist. They also increase agility by 2.

All items can be modded with ballistic weave for even more protection.

Silver themed items can only be crafted if you have something equipped that gives you the "Silver Shroud" perk.

For most, this means wearing the Silver Shroud Outfit and then going to the chemistry station to craft. If you already have something else that allows you to be treated as the Silver Shroud, that can be used instead.

All silver themed items give the "Silver Shroud" perk, giving you the effect of wearing the Silver Shroud Outfit.

Important note: If you unequip anything silver themed, it will remove the "Silver Shroud" perk from you even if you still have another silver themed item equipped and you will no longer be treated as the Silver Shroud. To get the perk back, just equip or reequip any silver themed item.

All items have had their Sub Index disabled on the mesh which means decals such as blood won't show up on them. You'll still see blood spurts when hit and some wetness material effects if enabled.

Armor can be worn with the outfits but expect some clipping depending on what you're wearing.

Items can also be equipped on non-feral ghouls (like Hancock) but helmets will clip a bit around the neck area. (Vanilla issue.)

Items are weightless and will appear as holotapes when dropped.

Items are valued at 0 and (at least in my game) can't be scrapped. Sell the items to a vendor if you want to get rid of them.

Most of the base helmet work is by GorstGoblin, who used the marine tactical helmet from Far Harbor and some eyebot parts. I've edited the helmet mesh to fit the neck area better and have redone the eyebot parts a little bit. I've cleaned up the eye area and made a custom cubemap so only static light sources should show up in the eye area (the sun, your pip-boy light, light bulbs, lanterns, etc). The female helmets might look a little off at some angles. I had to increase the mesh area around the eyes for the female versions because the game kept rendering their eyebrows inside the helmet no matter what I did and they'd stick out.

If you see an alternate cubemap in the eyes besides the custom one, it's because the game has hit its cubemap limit. It's a temporary thing and goes away on its own. Add this to your Fallout4Custom.ini if you want to avoid seeing other cubemaps:

The scarves are from Desdemona's outfit (Fatigues). Other options are available elsewhere like CROSS Uni Scarf but there's this weird triangle sticking out on the back. Not noticeable in 1st person but for someone like me who likes to play in 3rd person, it bothered me to no end once it caught my eye. It bothered me to the point that I've made everything from scratch by doing rendering omission on a texture level and tinkering with the mesh. No triangle anymore!

The gloves are from the Grognak costume and Desdemona's outfit (Fatigues). Arm brace part is from the vault jumpsuit.

Pants and boots are variations of the vault jumpsuit, submariner uniform, and an assaultron head laser part.

Male body texture in images not included. The one used is from Dynamic Ghoulification.

If you have anything that changes the textures of eyebots or assaultrons, outfits may look slightly different.
