Overview of Mod

This mod adds around 115 200 hand-placed spawns to the Commonwealth worldspace for a large number of creatures that were introduced with the Far Harbor and Nuka-World DLC's. These include: wolves, rad rabbits, rad-rats, gulpers, anglers, a couple of hermit crabs, cave crickets, rad ants, and flying ant swarms.

While 115 200 may sound like a lot, it really isn't that much when you consider the size of the map. My goal was to not overdue the amount of spawns, so that they felt natural and consistent with the base game.

Rad rabbits and rad-rats can be found throughout most of the Commonwealth, however most of the other creatures intentionally spawn further away from the starting northwest corner of the map. Cave crickets can be found in and around the Glowing Sea, gulpers and anglers near the coast and in the marshy southern areas, wolves around the eastern part of the map, and both types of ants can be found most frequently near the western areas. I'll leave the locations of the hermit crabs as a secret for now, for those who prefer a nasty surprise while they explore.

Keep in mind that most of these creatures were made for the higher level DLC areas, and as such their addition will likely make gameplay slightly more challenging.

I decided not to include gatorclaws, brahmiluffs, bloodworms, rad chickens, and fog crawlers. Rad chickens are already somewhat added by the Sim Settlements mod, which I believe to be a satisfactory implementation. Gatorclaws are unique to Nuka-World, and both brahmiluffs and bloodworms seem more likely to inhabit a drier and more arid climate than the Commonwealth. In a similar vein, fog crawlers seem to be directly related to Far Harbor's environment, so I didn't feel comfortable adding them to the mainland. If there is high demand for any of these creatures I may consider adding them in a future update.

Compatibility

Mods that add to or alter large parts of the Commonwealth may have conflicts with some of my spawn locations. This mod only adds spawns and a few patrol markers, and changes nothing else so it should be compatible with most everything. Report any incompatibilities and I'll move any spawn points that conflict.
