Weapons of Fate Redux is both a complete overhaul and a massive patch for the original Weapons of Fate mod.

It leverages the features brought by the excellent "RobCo Patcher" to prevent any risk of conflicts with other mods and also provides an ultra-customizable installation.

Weapons of Fate is a mod that makes bullets behave in a more interesting and realistic manner.

Weapons of Fate Redux is both a complete overhaul and a massive patch for the original mod.

The primary goal of this version is to take advantage of the functionalities provided by the excellent "RobCo Patcher". With this version, there is no longer any direct modification of in-game elements (which therefore means a complete absence of conflicts). The majority of mods adding weapons or altering ammunition will thus function without needing to install any patches.

For larger mods introducing new types of ammunition, patches (in .ini format) will be uploaded to allow them to benefit from the features of Weapons of Fate (Feel free to submit these so I can compile them on this same page).

Furthermore, the mod offers an ultra-customizable installation that allows you to choose the appearance of each projectile (or not, if you opt for a semi-modular installation).

When installing, you may choose to customize the mod to your liking. Here is the list of currently available options :

Bullet speed:
- Real bullet speed (100% of real speed)
- Reduced bullet speed (75% of real speed)
- Slow bullet speed (50% of real speed)

Bullet tracers:
- Bright bullet tracer
- Light bullet tracer
- No tracer (bullet only)
- Default (vanilla beam projectile)



- Installing Weapons of Fate 1.3.0 (or higher) is REQUIRED for this mod to work.
- Installing RobCo Patcher 3.3.2 (or higher) is REQUIRED for this mod to work.



Automatic Installation:
To install the mod automatically, use the mod manager of your choosing.

Manual Installation:
Unless you know exactly what you are doing, you should stick to the automatic installation process.

Update from an older version:
If you wish to update mid-game and your older "Weapons of Fate.esp" plugin was not ESL flagged, please REMOVE the ESL flag from this version or you may mess up your load order. If you are starting a new game, there is nothing to worry about.



Question:
Do I need the original mod for this to work?
Answer: Yes, but only the resources files (Weapons of Fate - Main.ba2 and Weapons of Fate - Textures.ba2).

Question: I do not own all the DLCs, is this a problem?
Answer: No, the ammo from missing DLCs will simply be ignored.
