Well that will likely be someone strongly addicted to chem in the world of Fallout 4, but if you think about it, you could become addicted to chem, but you only have a small debuff which is small as an ant..., your character is fine like nothing had happened, so why NPC would loose anything for chem and not you, That's Unfair !

So what does this mod add ?
you're wandering and you're right to ask the question, so let's get this over with and stop the linear chit-chat :

  • Auto use of chems if addicted to them (but only the one you're addicted with, and yes you can have multiple addiciton), time defined by a formula see below for more info
  • Voice fx before and after taking a chem when it's auto
  • Addiction states (3, low medium and hard) when you exceed the time to take your chem (for exemple you don't have any jet on you), it'll add voices, visuals and debuffs effects
  • Price for doctor cure now at 2500 Caps (so it's much harder to clean yourself up)
  • SnowBall effect, This will auto-consume a random chem if you haven't the one you're in need on you, this way you'll get addicted to more chem if you're not careful
  • MCM configurable, for Voices, Snowball, text, Visuals, frequency of auto-use and efficiency of addictol
  • Addictol reworked now addictol will only cures you from one addiction at a time, and it can only cures you if your addiciton level isn't too high ! (500 by default)




  • When you're addicted to a chem your player will use it automaticaly wihout your approval, because an addiction is an addiciton for god's sake ! The time beetween 2 injections is calculated by the following formula (in game time) : (10/((X*0,04)-((X*0,04)-10)/2))*10 where X is the addiciton amout of your charatcer, this way, the more time you're additcted the less there'll be beetween 2 injections :) (btw you take 25 when you use a chem in vanilla)

  • Now there is 3 states of addicitons which exists only if you don't take your chems (or if you don't have one on you since it's automatic) : Low , Medium and Hard, each one of them features visuals, voices and debuffs effect on your character. For exemple when you pass in a state of low addiciton you'll get a blurry vison and your character will complain about his addiction, well he's understanding that's something is weird.
Those states of addictions will be cleansed as soon as you find the following chem you were in a dire need for.

  • "Well idc i'm going to see a doctor and he'll be able to fix me for a couple of caps hahahaha" ..... oh my you're mistaken on something, 75 caps is a couple of caps but what would you call 2500 CAPS ! so no more excuses ! be aware that an addiction will be hard to remove.

Not compatible with mods that edits chems (well the mod will work but you won't be cleanse from the 3 status above if you take chems by yourself)

I made this mod for myself but ended up uploading it since I was kinda proud of how it went, if you have ideas of improval / optimisation I might be interested :)
