Tired of how most alt girl companions on this page look like cover models when they should be looking like album cover models? Me too. Hence this mod. This doesn't merely alter Piper's appearance by giving her some expensive looking pale foundation and black lipstick and call it a day. This makes changes to her personality, behaviour and actually tries to go a bit beyond the superficial.

Overview:

(Slight disclaimer: This mod contains mature content. Originally I had it set to adults only, but I looked it up and turns out that because the depictions are so mild, it's actually qualified as "Mature Only" since it doesn't depict anything that isn't already in the Fallout franchise. So just a quick heads up. This is not an NSFW mod but it sure wasn't made for kids.)

- New outfit that looks cute without feeling ridiculously out of place. No stripper heels or bikinis since, believe it or not, but it's hard to make it through the wetlands of Massachusetts in 11 inch platforms. Instead it features:

- Cool battle jacket
- Studded belt
- Homemade decals
- Obligatory Wicca symbols
- Tastefully handcrafted holes from when you drop a lit bong on your shirt
- Lots of fun surprises
- A nice pair of authentic pre-war Kansas made leather surplus army boots, put together by the best workers that the private juvenile detention system has to offer
- A trendy pair of sunglasses that make ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE

- Hair and face redone, featuring a handpicked selection of beautiful discount drugstore brand makeup that playfully balances a bold garishness with the outright trashy.

- Darker hair/slightly paler skin
- That beautiful glowing complexion that you can only get from chainsmoking throughout your 20s.
- Flat hair that runs off her porcelain brow like an oily waterfall *bites lip*
- A gentle helping of pocmarks that swirl across her rosy cheeks like the unrelenting void of a starry midnight sky.
- A lovely barbwire tattoo stretching across her neck, making a social statement that even she's not entirely sure about.
- Hypnotic and captivating sunken eyes from all those long nights of amphetamines and binge reading.
- A smile that could stop a speeding train.
- Fixed up her chin a bit, in the base game it looks weirdly disproportional to her head.

I know that Cait might seem like the obvious choice since she's a violent criminal who's struggling with the throes of addiction, and while that might make her seem like an outlier in America, truth is that this is a pretty standard outcome of an Irish seminary school education. My focus on Piper is because she's actually way more suited for it.

Piper to me comes off as someone who is smart, sincere and dedicated to helping others. So there's no wonder that people in diamond city treat her like crap. She challenges authority, speaks the truth, and fight for a bunch of ungrateful plebs who's never got her back. She is the quintessential populist, and like all populists, she's doomed to social martyrdom. Doesn't matter if it's Malcolm X or Julius Caesar... or like... that famous lady who got trampled by horses, I forget her name.

Granted, this is just one interpretation, and as the title hints at, this mod is made with Overbosses in mind. Piper's personality is now a lot more morbid, and she enjoys violence/drugs a lot more. Her dialogue doesn't always match her attitude now, but it means she's a better sidekick for when you're raiding stuff.

And speaking of, comes with a few more fun enhancements:

- Piper will now give you way better presents. Like combat chems, hand grenades and similar stuff including some custom items exclusive to this mod.
-
Piper now has cooler weapons. Not only does she get a silenced mare's leg, but she also has her own dedicated melee weapon, and since I'm pretty decent at AI stuff, they're configured to work really well. The mod also gives her a neat special ability that you're just gonna have to find out about for yourself.
- +600% grrrrl pwr

COMPATIBILITY:
Alters Piper's face, Outfit, Weapon and Character scripts. Should be fine with mods that change the general companion system, will not work with mods that change specific companions (aside from Piper of course). Don't ask me "Is this mod compatible with X?", I don't know every mod that's ever been made. Check their notes and check my notes and see if you can't do a bit of detective work.

Possible issues:
I have only tested this mod for a few hours. I haven't had time to do a long playthrough with her yet. So far everything I've added appears to be in order, but like with any new release there might be some things that need updating or fixing. Should be okay to install her midgame provided you don't have other companion mods installed, just click her in the console and input "Resurrect." (Transfer your items first though)

Also this is my first companion mod. I remembered the facegen data and what have you. In fact, I even made one of those newfangled archives for all the loose files. So hopefully I got that figured out right. Let me know if she looks like she just swam through a pool full of bubblegum.

...*Clicks finger* JANE FONDA! That's her name, I remember now. The horselady's name was Jane Fonda.

RIP Jane Fondy. GG

(Although if you ask me sacrificing your life to get the vote in a constitutional monarchy is a little bit like robbing a bank that's full of subway vouchers but nevertheless you know?)

EDIT:
Okay so according to the very angry text messages on my phone her name was actually Harley Davidson like the motorcycles. That's where they got the name from since it was meant as a tribute to how the horses may have thought they won that day, but in the end old Harley Davidson made them redundant. Jane Fonda was actually a fitness model from the 80s. NO IDEA how I got them mixed up. Maybe because they're both associated with enhanced performance?

EDIT EDIT:

Okay so it turns out that...
