Update Alpha Version 0.3 is out!! Sorry not yet added modular timescale :(. Re-balanced the penalties and fixed some leftover consumables. Player can now know when they are hungry/thirsty as they will become much more slower and tired easily.

This mod(WIP) dynamically changes all the properties of existing consumable items about 145 Records! (foods and drinks category) existing in Fallout 4, introducing 2 NEW types of addiction (HUNGER & THIRST) forcing players to properly manage their primary needs and health to survive the Commonwealth.

WIP Made with FO4Edit Alpha 3.13 (Until the CK!) Each record is precisely edited manually by hand.

Surviving in the Commonwealth isn't just shoot, vats and repeat anymore. I've dynamically re-adjusted and changed all foods and drinks so that each and every one of them will aid your primary needs. NOT all food heal anymore, and some are deadly, all the values has been revamp from the previous version to ensure realism. Throughout your journey you must EAT and DRINK or consequences will be applied, sleep is kinda need to wait up some more. :D

  • HP recovery based on type of creatures' meat
  • Restore food cravings longer than raw meat, duration depends on the HP recovery. More HP recovery, longer time taken to become hungry, varies from 1 hour to 6 hours.
  • Include vanilla bonuses such as Yao Guai Ribs increase Damage Resistance

  • HP Reduce Over Time by 0.0002 for 3 days
  • AP Reduced by 15
  • Speed Reduced by 20

Health Points restoration from vanilla is carried over BUT, with extended time period of healing, for example vanilla food restores 10 HP by 10 seconds, this mod, 0.1 HP in 100 seconds.

  • Simply activate this mod by eating/drinking
  • Companions are really going to hate you properly managing your needs XD (mind your own business will ya..!!)
  • Curing all addiction (Addictol/Doctors) currently removes the HUNGRY and THIRSTY, so just eat again for now okay?
  • There're currently no way of telling when you're hungry as I don't know how to edit swf (PipBoy Menu), sorry, will try to find a workaround :)
  • For the current version, I HIGHLY suggest "set timescale to 6" as this is what I've tested, will do a modular version later
  • Oh, one more thing in case you haven't noticed, this mod WILL deteriorate your health, so watch out XD,
  • WARNING: Sleeping and waiting for a long time may cause unintentional death and might slightly have little chance of CTD if die during sleep/wait  Nope, my bad, been using a lot of mods, so the problem is on my end.

  • Add modular version for different timescale
  • Add new mechanic to penalty if eat/drink more than needed
  • Add new Craftable Drugs/Consumables to increase or decrease hunger and thirst  timer
  • Add Sleeping derivation (kinda hard right now)
  • Add Sleeping bag
  • Add campfire tools for cooking
  • Add new disease/sickness for eating uncooked food
  • Add healing animation? Maybe?
  • Add pop-up message to notify player of hungriness and thirstiness
  • Rework perk mechanics to adjust to this mod
  • Remove companion hatred and dis-likeness
  • Remove cure addiction effect on primary needs
  • Rebalance the primary needs' penalties
  • Rebalance Stimpak properties
  • Consider whatever Idea/Plans you guys had in mind :)
These are the mods which I highly recommend to improve the realism experience playing at survival difficulty
(Makes the game a whole lot more challenging and much more realistic!!)

  • Will conflict with mods that change the food and drinks values
