I've created a new Afro mod: Soul Survivor Reloaded - Immersive Afro Hair Redux
It adds 12 new standalone afros that work for male and female characters.

Description
This mod replaces the small afros with bigger versions. One for male and one for female. Yep, i'm using the word "Immersive" ironically. Anyways... now you can finally be SoulBrother#1 (or SoulSister#1). I attempted to make these and best as I could. When making the female version, I wanted it to be as feminine as possible so it ends up being a lot bigger than the male version. I'm not a 3D modeler, but I have some experience in certain programs that don't really translate at all to other programs but I am used to working in a 3D environment. So I this is as advanced as I can get. I can't add physics to these. I can't make complex afro hair styles (like afro puffs or an afro ponytail). You're probably wondering how I did this. Check the FAQs below for how I did it. It's so simple you'll want to slap me for it.




WHAT THIS DOES
  - Replaces one hair for male and one hair for female.
  - Makes your character extra cool, groovy, and filled with more soul power
  - Makes YOU cooler in real life. (Spoilers. You're already at max coolness if you download and endorse this)
  - This does not add hair. Only replaces it.






Installation
Install with NMM or whatever mod manager you use. Or if you're a weirdo, install the data folder manually.


Compatibility and Conflicts
 -Anything that edits the afros of course
 - This mod can't be used by jive turkeys or people who don't have fallout 4.


Known Issues
None so far. Report them if you see any.

Yeah. i loaded up the right nifs, ignored the error messages, and fiddled with it. Exported those bad boys and it actually worked...

Are you some kind of genius?
Yeah. I'm pretty cool and unique. 

Can you make more afros?
If people want more afro shapes, smaller, bigger, wider, faster, stronger, I can do that. Just request it and include a picture of what you want. I cannot, however, make afro puffs, afro pony tails and the like because that requires actual 3D modeling. I mean, if someone is willing to push me in the right direction, I'm willing to/really want to make a ton of afro hair styles and even stuff like dreadlocks because it's lacking in these games (Fallout, Skyrim, everything), but i simply don't have those skills.

Will you make these standalone?
Yeah. With the GECK or CK comes out. I'm sure it can be done with Fo4Edit, but I wouldn't know how to do that. I'd do it if someone told me how to make standalone hairs for sure though.

Will you be making anything else in the future?
beyond more afro shapes and sizes that people request? i don't know. I have ideas, but not the talent to pull it off.

If you want to do anything to or with this mod, just give me some credit. However don't just reupload this to some place else please. Unless this gets taken down for whatever reason, then I suppose having backups somewhere will be fine. But that's only worse case scenario. But if you want to use it to make a cool standalone follower in the future or whatever, that's cool. No need to ask, just give me some credit and maybe a link back here.
