I love the mood and weathers of Polluted Climate, and the sounds, effects and ghoul hordes of True Storms. So I mashed them together in xEdit.
This is not a compatibility patch, it's a my-favourite-features-merged patch.

Far Harbor and Nuka World are required. Polluted Climate has them as requirements.
Far Harbor and Nuka World (FH compatible) patches for True Storms are required.
Basically make sure the order is True Storms - Polluted Climate - Polluted Storms and you should be fine.

You still need to use the True Storms configuration holotape to enable the cool stuff.
I recommend simply enabling the effects and setting ghoul hordes to 100%, but you can configure it how you like.



What you should expect from this patch:
  • Polluted Climate weathers and colors.
  • True Storms gameplay effects: sneak buffs in certain weathers, radioactive rain and ghoul hordes.
  • True Storms audio: thunder and rain (including interior sounds), distant ghoul sounds in certain weathers.
  • True Storms weather VFX: lightning and effect textures.
  • The True Storms stuff has been added to Polluted Climate weathers, plus some other stuff that was missing it.
  • Weather control holotapes have been disabled, along with the holotape crafting recipes (to reduce clutter). You can still spawn them in with the console (pick the Polluted Climates one).
  • True Storms fog filters have been disabled by default to reduce settlement menu clutter. You can choose to enable them again in the FOMOD.
  • Optional TS Earlier Sunsets and Glowing Sea RADs patches are available in the FOMOD.
  • Some personal changes to some values that didn't make sense to me.
  • Possibly some new bugs, but I tested the Commonwealth weathers quite a bit. Please use the bug tracker if something seems off.
  • Probably something I'm forgetting... Read the original pages.
