About this mod

Is your power armor frame a raider/BOS property? is it an abandoned one? Now they are VISUALLY distinct!

Permissions and credits
New esp file has been uploaded, the missing mesh in the old version is not actually "missing", but simply because I forgot to change the reference of the nif file name, after I had done the renaming and re-linking the texture to new nif. Sorry for the inconveniences.

Description:

I had found out there're many variation of power armor in vanilla game long time ago, such as BOS, raider, wastelander, and normal frames are using separate nif meshes. I am no artist myself, so I just link each of them to additional dds texture file downloaded from nexus forum, in order to make them looked differently.

The primary issue of this is, I didn't realize the empty power armor was listed as furniture in fallout4.esm, so they aren't actually looked differently as I expected, until I found a mod named Identify Power Armor Frames by Stone-D.

Thanks to Stone-D, with the knowledge now, I am able to apply the visual changes to these furniture, also adapting and changing the names Stone-D has given them in more practical uses.

For example, I kept the special owner's name for specific PA frame, the rest of them are roughly categorized in several general types:

Abandoned (those ones you luckily found beside the road, mostly leveled)
Raider (wear by raiders)
BOS (wear by BOS personnel, or the personal PA player received from BOS)
Wastelander (gunner, atom cats, or higher rank of random pa generates T-51, X-01 parts)
Standard Power Armor, which was purchased from the store

Know Issue:

However, there is a known issue which is beyond my current knowledge. No matter which faction of PA the player/companion is wearing, those frame just showed as a raider power armor frame. I believe there must be an another reference in fallout4.esm related to this issue, and I will update again when I found it out.

Giving credits to those amazing modders:

Because of the fact that those frame re-texture files are only published as "replacement", I can't coordinate them without changing their file names, thus I have to package them in a file. I would like to share a version without containing others' work, but it seems less possible to ask you downloading them and changing the file names by yourself.

So I would like to give the credits and give my thanks to those artist who created great works.
