    In the base game, level 4 Scrounger perk gives you a 50% chance to recover ammo.
    The Scrounger version of this mod sets that percentage to 100% and applies it to each level.

      No performance impact at all. I made this in response to Cheat Terminal. This is entirely script-free.

    Mod did not work with the Mac-11 right away.  I tried a 10 mm pistol and a shotgun with no problems then went back to the Mac-11 and it worked fine.  Just had to tickle it a bit, I guess.  Thank you for a better alternative than a holo tape that sometimes doesnt work.  Will do some more testing but seems to work fine.  Endorsed!

    How can I toggle this Infinite Ammo? Do I need to add/remove the perk?

    Sometimes during a longer mission, I wouldn't want to bother about ammo, so I would prefer this Infinite Ammo cheat enablement.
    Rest of the times, I would prefer some realism and scrounge for ammo or craft the ammo.

      Which version did you download? One edits the Scrounger perk. One adds a new perk that can be manually added (“help unfinite 4”) or added automatically if you have RobCo Patcher.

      I think he is asking for a way to toggle this on and off which would be nice.  I know you can add and remove perk through console but I think he was asking for a toggle like Korax Sit and Drink Disabler, that can be hot keyed.  Even better would be a  MCM toggle so no extra junk in the inventory.  Not sure it is doable but just a thought.  Anyways I am just happy this works with mod guns! Thanks again.  I sure hope Beth doesn't hose the game with this TV show release. I have been backing my game up twice a day until we see what happens....lol.

      The Scrounger version of the mod will work on any foreseeable update Bethesderp releases.

    On one hand I can stop using that Korean infinite ammo mod that I can't read it's details about in-game. People can also use this without the need for F4SE (and MCM) so Steam Deck users can try this out.

    On the other hand, it's an esp/esl file, so people with those large amount of mods gotta worry about if they can fit it in.

      I'll admit I'm still learning the whole "esp vs esl" thing, but I was under the impression that esls weren't a problem since they don't count towards your plugin limit like esps does. Is that not correct?

      .ESP files can -- under certain circumstances {whether it contains formIDs outside the valid range} -- be 'flagged' as .ESLs, so that they don't take up a load order slot [but they keep their .esp filename extension].  That's what i3ncore is referring to on his description page.  

      If you use Wrye Bash (among other tools), you can both check whether a given .esp file is eligible for being '.ESL-ified' and, if so, change it yourself. 
      Actually, Vortex (among others) also provides a means for doing so, too.

      Well if I remember right, the limit in theory was about 4000 ESL, but most people get about a limit of 300-600 depending on computer specs and that's not counting the reference limit.

      For reference, I have about 484 esl and 183 esp files. I don't know how far I can push it, as my computer can be considered as old compared to today's top standrds, which is why I'm worried.

    Wondering: 

    I use WhiskeyTangoFawks' "True Perks" full perk overhaul mod (fka Creative Perks Plus).  
    I dunno what, if any, edits Whisakey may have made to the Scrounger perk, but... am I right to assume compatibility borkage if I try to run both simultaneously?  

    I guess I may have to go do a trial & check it out in FO4Edit to see if I can a butcher up a patch of un-borkage?  
    Any advice welcome (given that I rarely know what I'm looking at)...

      Yeah, if another mod touches Scrounger it’ll be incompatible - but that’s why I made a separate plugin that adds a perk that does the same thing, just in case someone is using some fancy perk overhaul or whatnot ;) you could just load this after, it won’t hurt the other perks.
