This mod adds a new catergory of food that can be crafted at Cooking Station called Epic Meals. Each recipe requires several ingredients, mostly meats and prewar food, Usually a combination of the two.
The recipes costs a lot more than the default cooking recipes available, but last much longer, and are much more powerful than those default recipes. Also, the recipes give a use to all that prewar food you'll be collecting over the wasteland.
All the effects of Epic Meals stack with each other, meaning that if you eat some Kellog's Cereal and Moms Fancy Pasta, you will get +6 Strength, along with the other effects, (+100 Max HP, +2 Perception and +25 Energy Resistance)
The +69% Energy Damage from Highly Enriched Molerat will apply to guns, and should apply to melee weapons that have an energy damage type added to it. It doesn't apply to energy grenades, and I don't think it applies to legendary effects that add energy damage to regular weapons.
Wasteland Survival Guide #9, Hunting in the Wastes, inside Sunshine Tidings Co-Op is really helpful for getting the meat required for these recipes.
As for Load Order, it should be able to go literally anywhere. This mod doesn't change a single default Fallout 4 record.
