About this mod

Adds a chance of suitable beverages being added to human NPC level lists to help balance survival mode whilst increasing immersion.

Changelogs
Adds lore-friendly beverages to human NPCs, generally 2 out of 3 will have a beverage added to their inventory on death.

  • Feral Ghouls carry Dirty Water or empty bottles.
  • Raiders, Triggermen, Gunners, and similar factions will drop from Purified Water to Alcohol.
  • Brotherhood carry Non-Alcoholic Drinks.
  • Rare drop chances added. Some rare drops allude to hidden characteristics or traits of the NPC.
  • Sometimes you only receive an empty bottle. In the case of an NPC dropping multiple empty bottles, that means that you failed a chance at a rare drop.



Installation:
I recommend to use your favourite mod manager
and create a bashed patch for your level lists using Wrye Bash to ensure there are no conflicts in your leveled lists.

Vim flavours show up starting at level 10; Nukaworld premade flavours at 15.

Whilst playing Fallout 4 Survival, I noticed water quickly becomes scarce after scavenging an area. 
This situation becomes incredibly inconvenient when you want to set up a temporary base in the area while exploring outwards. Players who don't use formal
settlements as a base will suffer the most from this.


This is largely due to no beverages being included in the drops of NPCs. 
Beverages had to be obtained from filling bottles and looting containers.
This mod aims to rectify this issue by adding beverages to NPC drops.
