Description
Inspired by Less Dismemberment and Explosion and No Exploding And No Dismember From Guns, and with the help of RobCo Patcher, I represent you guys a more realistic gunshot experience in a conflict free way:
  • Now most ballistic guns wouldn't shot enemies' limbs off or explode into a bloody mess, like Pipe Gun, 10mm, Submachine Gun, but with few exception, like .44, hunting rifle, shotguns, Gauss rifle;
  • Laser, pulse, insititute, plasma guns wouldn't dismember and explode enemies too;
  • Some melee weapons are tweaked too. For example, machete will only dismember enemies, knuckle will not explode one's head;
  • Few grenades are affected. Pulse grenade and mine would not dismember or explode enemies, they emit electricity after all;
  • Many creature and robots are also tweaked. Now Protectron will not cut one's limbs off with that puny laser or smash one's head with that small arm, acid spray by Mirelurk Queen should not dismember enemies.
  • Confict-free! This mod will only affect the OnHit data, leaving all other entries under Weapon untouched, this means that you can install your favorite weapon ovehaul or weapon animation overhaul without the need to worry about conflicts, all thanks to RobCo Patcher!

Requirement & Installation
Install RobCo Patcher first for sure, than install my mod by your mod organizer.
Though this mod covers almost all the weapons under the weapon section in base game and three major DLCs, DLCs are not required to be installed.

Few Details
This mod was made possible by changing the weaponHitType under the category of weapons, so it's not ammo type or modification aware. That means if you happened to have changed a weapon from 5.56mm to .308, or change the Tire Iron to the modifiction with the blade, the hit effect would not change accordingly, this is the limitation of both the game itself and the RobCo Patcher. This con might be able to overcome in the future, but who knows?
This mod was made in my own perspective of realistic, and a few bit of fun (.44 could stll explode one's head), it's not 100% realistic (hence MORE realistic
than vanilla in the title), you might have different idea on specific weapons, and you are free to change the mod as you like.
