Intended for powerful computers, which can run the game in high quality at 60fps, it includes many optimized 4K textures.

You must be wondering: But there are already other mods that resize textures out there, why create one more?

Well, the other mods optimize SOME textures, my mod optimizes THE WHOLE GAME, all 40,962 textures! 



I completely redid the mod, using a new texture selection algorithm, and due to numerous requests, there are now 4 texture sizes:

Fancy 4K textures but with the same performance as the vanilla game (performance without the HD pack) if your computer ran the game without the HD pack at 60fps, it will continue to run at 60fps, but with 4K textures.

Equilibrium Most 2K textures like the default game, a select few are in 4K like walls, or very large objects. Still the performance is better than the vanilla game

Impetus Reduced size textures, between 1k and 2k, for simple computers, yet with a balance of not reducing the size of wall textures and large objects too much, to maintain a decent level of graphic quality.

Potato - Everything reduced to 512, specular maps annihilated, normal maps 256, game now runs on barbie's laptop.

All versions include textures from all DLCs. All versions were created using the base game textures + official HD pack, to get the best possible source. But it is NOT necessary to have the official HD texture pack (if you have it, please remove it). Some textures were enlarged using the Topaz Gigapixel AI tool, before being optimized and/or resized. Others were replaced by very similar textures by author Sergei Turguniev who authorized me to use them.

Performout includes a few material fixes (like clear glass in the airport). It is highly recommended that you use some Previs optimization mod. It is also recommended that you know how to correctly configure the ini for better performance.

The compression of ALL textures has also been revised, textures without alpha were compressed using BC1, and textures with alpha were compressed using BC3. This resulted in a drastic drop in VRAM usage, with no change in visual quality.

If you use mods that change the face texture, it will cause the brown face bug. This issue is due to 3rd party mods using high resolutions for face texture. I'm building a program that automatically modifies the textures of third-party mods to make them performout-compatible.
