This mod's entire purpose is to make it possible for the player to properly build their own faction-themed settlements
AVAILABLE GUARDS:
- Brotherhood Of Steel Knights (Available when you are a Knight)
- Brotherhood Of Steel Paladins (Available when you are a Paladin)
- Institute Synths (Available after Synth Retention)
- Institute Coursers (Available after Mankind Redefined)
- Minutemen (Available after Taking Independence)
- Railroad Agents (Available after Taking Tradecraft)
TYPES OF GUARDS:
- Patrollers: They will roam the area around their spawn point
- Standing guards: They will stay there, guarding the spot you placed them & will return to their posts after they leave it to help in a fight
- Sandbox guards: They will roam around the settlement & do random stuff like settlers (but no work)
HOW TO RECRUIT THE GUARDS:
- They are available through the workshop under Defense --> Turrets
BUILDABLE FACTION BARRICADES:
- Army
- BOS(after you have joined)
NOTES ON THE GUARDS:
- They add to your settlement's defense, population, & resource needs but you cannot order them out of their Power Armor or trade with them hence you cannot steal their equipment
- Gen 2 Synths don't add to pop & resource needs, but Coursers do (engine limitation, nothing I can do)
- They will only guard & can't be assigned to do settlement work like farming, & they will not try do it by themselves either
- They are allied to the player & won't attack Settlers or other guards
- They have randomized vanilla faces & faction appropriate weaponry which they get from vanilla LL lists
