- Please only post questions/feed back specifically related to this mod - I am not the one to ask about comparability or other mod related issues for a mod you are looking to install - at some point I might do more guides on MO2 but right now I am not able to.
- Added ESP flagged with ESL versions. As always just delete the esp file if you do not need.

Overview:
- MO2 manual file install guide for Loose Files.
- The MO2 Mod Folder is essential your Data Folder for Fallout 4.
- This is a written step by step process that I have learned through watching online guides and trouble shooting myself. I recently moved from Vortex to MO2 so i have had to relearn how to mod using MO2. One area I found confusing at first was profiles and what files MO2 loads and where from. My hope is by sharing what I learn it may assist others starting out with MO2.
- Update 2.0 Contains a path template which may simplify the process for some.
- Post requests for a particular mod in the comments and will assist where I can.
2.0 Update:
- Contains a path template which can be edited to suit your needs.
- Main File is has all directories currently known to me - comment if I have missed some
- I have added separate files for those who just want:
- F4SE
- Materials, Meshes & Textures
- Any folders you do not require it is safe to leave or delete.
2.0 instructions:
[This can also be done yourself if you select Explore Virtual Folder in the exe drop down menu where you choose the vanilla or F4SE fallout 4 .ex]
- Download the mod you are wanting to add - Manually (recommended) or through mod manager.
- Download the File relevant to your needs - Manually (recommended) but mod installer is fine just go into MO2 mod folder and open it in explorer as a separate window.
- Change the Main Folder Name and ESP (ie Mike's Girl MO2 - loose Files - AIO) to something relevant to the mod you are installing. Such as the mod name or even 'My Loose Files Mod'
- A dummy plugin is included (a) versions .esp and (b) versions are .esp flagged as esl. (all plugins were created using Wyre).
- If you do not want to use the .esp plugins that is okay - its mainly if you want to control any load order conflicts and make sure things overwrite correctly.
- Place the Main Folder you renamed in step 3 and all its contents (check paths below) in the MO2 mod folder
- Note: All ESPs and File Folders come completely empty so there is no risk of overwriting anything by mistake.
- Allays check the description and posts pages of the mod you want to install for any specific install and load order recommendations
- See images below for some examples:
Uninstall:
- Either delete folder from MO2 Mod folder or select the uninstall options in your mod manager
- Its generally advised not to add/remove mods during a current play-through.

V.1.0 Manual Guide for MO2:
Option 1:
- Inside MO2 neartop select small sized folder directory tab -> Open Mod Folder -> Create a new folder such as ENB Helper for Fallout 4
- Place the F4SEfolder and all contents inside the folder created in step 1
- Refresh MO2
Option 2: Create an Empty ESP
- Manually Download the files
- Right anywhere on left panel in MO2
- Select the top option All Mods -> create empty mod above -> name it anything you like such as ENB Helper for Fallout 4
- Double click on the new mod (it will be greyed) -> File Tree "open mod in explorer" {above name tab}
- Place the contents inside of the mod download in step 1 this folder.
- Enable the mod in the left panel
- Optional add a blank ESP from Unofficial HD Pack Creation Guide Cemology if load order matters. Or just use the mod manager download option - but sometimes the file paths aren't correct for MO2 so I usually do the above 2 options. hope
this helps.
Notes:
- (MO2 will tell you in left panel if there are any conflicts) - follow Poets recommended settings to show more conflict info. (Highly Recommended)
