40K Black Templar Bolters
The bolter, also called a boltgun, and its variants are some of the most powerful, hand-held, ballistic anti-personnel weaponry in use by the military forces of the Imperium of Man. It is a powerful assault weapon that fires explosive kinetic rounds colloquially referred to as bolts.
The bolter is a weapon synonymous with the Adeptus Astartes, and rightly so. However, although the Space Marines are its primary users, the bolter finds itself in use in military organisations throughout the Imperium. The weapon is fearsome, with explosive rounds capable of ripping through or blowing apart a foe. The Chaos Space Marines of the Traitor Legions were issued their Legions' bolters before the Horus Heresy, and therefore use generally older variants than the patterns available to present-day Loyalist Space Marines.
The Black Templars are a Loyalist Second Founding Space Marine Chapter derived from the Imperial Fists' gene-seed and their primarch, Rogal Dorn. Their origin can be traced back to the Imperial Fists' defence of Terra during the Horus Heresy.
The 40K Black Templar Bolters do not have any special animations or upgrades, and I will not be making any for it. It is just a basic no frills weapon just the way I like them.
As stated above in red the weapon cannot be improved or changed at the Weapon Workbench, other than having a legendary effect added to it. The scopes do work on the gun though. There are 8 Bolters that can be made. There are 4 of each color scheme, and they can be made with and with out scopes and with or without the Templar Badge on them. Look at the photos to see all the options. The guns are craft-able at the Chem Bench and has it's own listing, so it should be easy to find. The mod is flagged as an ESL, so it does not take up any mod slots. The mod is what it is, and unless it is a game breaking issue, will not be revised.
Added an optional ESP to the files that bumps up the damage of the bolter to 200 and bumps up the fire damage up to 50. Install the main file and then overwrite with the optional ESP. Some may think it is OP, but it really just makes the Bolters so that they are brought up to the power level that they really should be.
If you are crashing at the Chem Bench when trying to make the weapons, go and download and enable the mod No More Legendary Screen, that mod will stop the crashing from happening. Make sure you get the correct copy of the mod for the version of the game you have.
