INTRODUCTION

I was always using the console to spawn in items and then going into workshop mode to place them. Once I did that, then I'd have to turn off object physics using Place Everywhere. It works ok with Transfer Settlement Blueprints, but with Workshop Framework the items would go back to falling all over the place after importing them.

So, I made this mod. And then it took on a life of its own and I started adding pre-decorated stuff along with the statics. I probably need a new name for the mod...

There are over 1600 items that can be crafted (including pre-decorated stuff). Lots and lots of prewar and postwar items. Instead of a long description, just check out the pics to see what you get. The pics do not show everything but will give you an idea of what is included.

NOTES:

First, I'm calling this in beta. This has been a huge project and I'm only one person. I believe I squashed any bugs but it's definitely possible that I missed something so please let me know if you have any issues.

  • Collections: This category contains items that have already been decorated. Contains all furniture and wall shelves pre-decorated from the prewar Sanctuary player home in pre and post war textures, plus a couple filled bookcases and several decorated coffee tables.
  • Armor: If the armor does not specify left or right for the arms and/or legs, then the model for both was the same so I only included one.
  • Invisible Armor Racks: Go back and forth between the affected armor rack and another one and it will eventually show up. It seems to mainly affect the Female BoS Vertibird Pilot, Female Desdemona, Male Hancock and the Female General's Outfit. Since there is a workaround, I left them in there. I tried various different things but couldn't figure out exactly what is causing it. See Equipped Armor Racks for additional info and pics of the Armor Racks.
  • Lamps: The lamps under decorations do not light up and are for decoration only. If a lamp lights up, it will be under Power.
  • Fridge: The door will snap to the fridge, but you cannot open the door. So put some stuff in the fridge first. NOTE: I've updated the record from static to door so it can now be opened as of v0.8. The original static door will remains.
  • Postwar Furniture: For the most part, I used the prewar meshes and a material swap to change it to the postwar textures. This will give you "repaired furniture".
  • Snap Points: I've edited a lot of meshes to include snap points to make them easier to place. If an item seems hard to place, please let me know and I'll see what I can do. I always use Place Everywhere so it's possible that I missed something.
  • Organization: Hopefully I organized it so you can find things, but if you have any suggestions to make it better, please let me know.
  • Crafting Requirements: Honestly, I didn't put a lot of thought into this. I tried to make some of the items require the components that you would get for scrapping the vanilla counterparts, but that became pretty overwhelming after a while, so mostly I just used the form lists for organization and just put some random requirements for them. Just use console and tgm if you don't want to use up your stuff to craft items from this mod.

It uses Settlement Menu Manager to add the items to the workshop.
