Radio Music Replacer

What this?

A small modification to the Diamond City radio, to play only the elevator music track.

But why?

Because I just started to broadcast again on Youtube, and got an instant ban hammer on my video for playing Faith No More. It wouldn't have bothered me if I hadn't planned to extract parts of the video, to show of building custom settlements for the custom settlements mod. But as it lies in my nature, I raged because I was stupid and forgot to remember that YT has strange and inconsistent copyright practices on broadcasts. So screw you YT for blocking videos, and Samus666!

But why me?

I don't know? Because you hate 50's music? Because you love the elevator track so much, you want it to be globally the only song? I mean, everybody likes elevator music, even Strong.

How dare you dislike 50's music!

It's not like I throw commercials all across the internet 24/7 in my name, so excuse if I failed your highly ethical standards.

No, in all seriousness. Copyright and violating it is a serious issue, specially in our community, with all the million eyes policing every move. I respect copyright of other users all the way, although I'm not very consequent on postering that all over the place. But you guys should know that you are always in my mind with the highest regards of respect and credit.

But there are times were this whole topic reaches out of scope, and doesn't follow any logical relation. There's literally thousands of prominent content creators constantly breaking copyright guidelines, that never get harassed by Youtube. So either they are famous/rich enough to provide a lawyer to whoop YT's ass, or their consumer base just doesn't love to get their kicks out of denouncing people. Yeah, karma will have its way with the later.

Will this be expanded?

Most likely yes. The initial idea was to replace the whole Diamond city radio with ambient music tracks. Then I figured those tracks don't play for whatever reason. Then I tried finding other tracks in the folders that would work, but only some of them would. Then I raged because Bethesda puts incomprehensible restrictions into their game, and just coped with the elevator track, because it would work flawlessly...repeating, but flawlessly.

How will you expand it?

With cynical fun stuff of course. I'd prefer making fun of Youtube and Bethesda and their weird and inconsistent copyright practice. It's like that really weird U.S American attitude that we can have death and violence everywhere, but drug names and genitals are big no no's. Also, Youtube will probably start to block even more videos if they find out there are other tracks in the game, that have copyright applied, but are uninteresting for them and their lawyers because you can't make much money out of classical music etc. I'm probably going to put in audio based internet meme stuff, like the Leroy Jenkins track, or Arnold and Darth Vader quotes. As far as I know George Lucas hasn't been a dig in the past in regard to use Anakin's voice in videos.

But, but, but...Elvis was King!

Yes, and he was high on virtually any drug available by that time. So technically he's a Raider gang leader. I'm sure there's a lore info in that regard.
