ID-9 seeker droid
ID-9 seeker droids, also called Parrot Droids or Mimic Droids, are a model of seeker droids that resembled the Viper probe droids manufactured by Arakyd Industries. The body of ID-9 seekers consists in a half-hemisphere dome with a red photoreceptor. Attached to that dome are five articulated, tentacle-like limbs that ended in pincers. The ID-9s have a large red sensor to monitor and track targets and can record audio. They are outfitted with electro-shock prods that allow them to harm organic lifeforms and incapacitate mechanical beings in addition to the blaster built into the center of their photoreceptor. They are capable of imitating the sounds of other droid models, and had two locomotions modes: hovering and crawling. The Seventh Sister, a member of the Galactic Empire's Inquisitorius, employed a small army of such seekers in her efforts to capture Jedi and insurgents.
The ID-9 is an armor add-on that uses the shield slot on the body for FO4. It gives you a buff that will Fortify Intelligence & Perception. He also gives an added 100 points of armor value
to who ever you add him to (yes he can be worn by NPC's).
The ID-9 does not have any special animations or upgrades, and I will not be making any for him. He is just a basic no frills armor piece, just the way I like them.
It is just a bit of wearable flair that is useful and fun all at the same time.
The ID-9 makes no noise, can't be interacted with, other than being worn and it can't be upgraded (at least I don't think it can be. lol).
As stated above in red the ID-9 cannot be improved or changed at the Armor Workbench, other than having a legendary effects added to them.
The ID-9 craft-able at the Chem Bench and it has its own listing, so it should be easy to find.
It can not be used while in Power Armor
The mod is flagged as an ESL, so it does not take up any mod slots.
The mod is not perfect but it is what it is, and unless it is a game breaking issue, will not be revised.

If you are crashing at the Chem Bench when trying to make the weapons, go and download and enable the mod No More Legendary Screen, that mod will stop the crashing from happening. Make sure you get the correct copy of the mod for the version of the game you have.
