As I was tracking the Institute Courser as part of the main quest I noticed how the tracking signal was identical to that of the BoS (Lost Patrol) distress pulsers. Digging through the game files I did find an unused signal which probably was meant for the Courser but they ended up using the one and same sound instead. So, I just wanted something more audible and less boring when following these radio beacons ^^
A brief video is included to showcase what you're replacing and what options you have before downloading one. Please note that the games audio-options radio volume is set to *full* in the video in case you think the sounds are too loud, it's just for showcasing the actual sounds in game. It can be adjusted from the pause menu like all radio channels.
Manual installation; Download the archive, open it and open the data-folder within. Drop the contents (sound-folder) to your Fallout4/Data. Yes to overwrite/merge. Uninstall; Delete the folder "DATA\sound\fx\UI\PipBoy\Radio\BeaconBOSDead\" and the game reverts back to vanilla sounds.
