For all those unfortunate people that have downloaded version 1.0 I actually uploaded the wrong bloody file. What this did when you used it it added stuff that shows but doesn't work into your inventory. There is a really easy fix for this. Just put all the gears screws springs nuclear materials and corks into a box somewhere out there and forget about it. Container will reset later and game will clear that stuff on its own. Once again my apologies. version 1.1 is fixed and fully functional.
Just a little H/U for you...... Cork isn't a "wood". It is the bark of the Cork Oak tree and the vast majority of natural-growth cork trees are in Portugal and North Africa. Portugal produces the most cork (and corks). Some other countries with a Mediterranean climate have cork plantations but do not produce anything near the quantity as that done by Portugal. So the cork in Boston in 2210.....where was that grown, Bethesda? :)
Anyway....a very useful mod and one which has cured me from being irritated by the lack of one bloody screw when needed!
Good Mod, the only problem i found is, the nuclear material recipe, the "glowing fungus" is needed to make Radaway, can you change the recipe to "Brain fungus" instead, or at least make another version, because the "brain fungus" is needed to make Mentas, and most people don't use drugs. I think that will be a good idea.
i personally use another mod that lets you plant any plant you can find in the wild, well most of them at least; this includes brain fungus and glowing fungus; that way you can literally farm them
Just a suggestion for the mod, I like how easy it is to create springs and screws, but could you add a version that makes it more difficult to craft these things? something like changing the required amount of Steel to something like 15 or 10 for one screw? I know this seems like an extreme amount but It does kinda feel a little cheat'y to make that many screws with that little steel. and I hope this doesn't come off as rude.
And you know that there's no sight of a crucible to craft something like gears right? and making a screw or a spring is not that simple as cutting off a piece of steel from the bar and model it into what you want, it's not modelling clay lol so maybe is balanced to have a hard way, when you have like me 600 steel units (only cause I used a whole lot for perimeter walls, buildings and stuff), you can imagine that even 0,1lb of steel are enough for one screw/gear/spring, even if you can maybe craft 20 or more screws with such amount of steel.. But I don't think creating a screw for a bar would be that easy, and people around scavenge for these small parts even if there huge amounts of steel ready to be taken.. Why? Maybe cause industries that used to produce them are dead with the Great War.
Said so I'll use this mod too, mainly for the nuclear material. Cause Survival Mode isn't supposed to use mods and it screwed up scrapping system, so no more tasty stuff like nuclear materials and fiber optics from weapons, and I've have to compensate somehow at least for the nuclear material.. It's a shame because Dynamic Flora Harvesting allows to pick up a lot more wild plants stuff that I'm nearly drowing in glowing fungus. I will try to restrain myself from taking advantage of this Thanks for the mod in advance
@Astro88 Sooooo I know a thing or two how to create stuff like this in real life. It is actually REALLY easy once you have the right stuff. If you don't the first step is difficult granted. BUT once you create the tools for creating this stuff then it is really easy. On top of that you have lasers to help you cut the steal and tons of other technological advances. So yeah once the tools are done, then there is no problem of creating tons of this stuff
is there anyway to can add more ways to make adhesive? i know in life theres more then one way to do it. even melting plastic would count i would think. lol xD.
could you add some more recipes? maybe for ceramics, metals (aluminum and copper), or a cheaper adhesive recipe than the "vegetable starch" option? i could really use a reliable source of ceramics.
Cheaper than vegetable starch??? Come on. You just have to plant some vegetables in your main base and let the settlers do the work for you. I've 7 people working on 38 units of food splitted between tatoes, mutfruits and corn. The water purifier periodically drops purified water in the main container, just taking it from there and stocking it in an isolated container makes you have plenty of ingredients to craft the starch. Keep in mind that the last time I've harvested plants to craft it I got a total of 70 adhesive untis, at once.

For those who want to change how many components you get, use FO4Edit and just nudge those numbers. Also works great with an ESL flag
Just rebuilding the game on my PC, I don't have the C-Kit installed yet!
