This! I would love to be able to freeze people inside. Some sort of prison.

I was successfully able to assign the bed to a settler, but I did not see them use it at all. I didn't watch for that long, so they may go in it. I need to do more testing to find out if it's something that can be done.

Settlers do actually get in them, but they lie in them like a bed. The Cryo Pod has to have enough side clearance on the right or they just try to get in and fail. I uploaded two new pics to show what they look like with settlers. I'm gonna try to get them to go in properly, but it might take a while or I may have to wait until the GECK comes out.

You could try using the Pillory scripting? I mean in terms of locking settlers away in cryo pods

Could you add assignable Protectron pods?
No work for your robot/Gen1-2.5 Synth? Assign them to a pod where they will shut down inside (or one set of wheels in if sentry).
Always know where they are, much like you can place dog houses so you know which general area your dogs will be.

Also, can you let Gen 1-3 Synths use the memory lounger?

I guess I'm late but this mods looks great, however
-they should be working-stations (resource/scavenging-stations) ; when they're assigned they stay in there for the most part
    -are the animations fixed?

Yes because I wanted to be a sadistic asshole and put a cryo pod in my settlement so that everytime my character sees it they have PTSD. lol

Out of curiosity, how did you find the cryo pod object in the game files to mod it or use it as a buildable object?

I use FO4Edit to create my mods. It breaks down the game files and shows you literally every object in the game. It's just a matter of looking in the right place. I think I was actually looking for something else at the time and found the furniture entry for the pod and thought it would make a nice bed.

Would it be possible to get you to help me locate an object in game in that file? If I'm successful in making the mod, I would def give you credit in making the mod possible. I know the exact area the object is in to, if you're interested in helping.

I can help if you want, but you can find an item using the console in the game. Use the ~ key to open the console and click on the object. It will give you the ID number which you can search for in FO4Edit.

This would be cool as part of a mod that lets you "store" settlers in the pods and train them in the loungers.

I think they should be connected to a generator. and it would be great if npcs use it.
