An unofficial update to asXas' A Bundle of Tape weapons pack that contains many additions, adjustments, bug fixes, tweaks, and more.



FEATURES
CONCRETE SLEDGEHAMMER
  • Brand new LL injection- weapon will now appear on Raiders, Forged, Super Mutants, vendors, and as legendary drops starting at level 20.
  • Balance adjustments:
    • Increased base damage from 35 to 65.
    • Increased weight from 15 to 17.
    • Changed weapon speed from Slow to Very Slow.
  • Reworked grip attachments- wood grips are standard while metal grips have reduced weight. The comfort grip options offer increased damage.
  • Reworked head attachments- buffed attack damage, reduced weight, etc.
  • Weapon now uses vanilla instance naming rules (INNR).


CRUDE BLOWBACK
  • Brand new LL injection- weapon will now appear on Raiders, Super Mutants, Minutemen, bosses, vendors, and as legendary drops starting at level 8.
  • Integrated MischiefBrew0's power armor footsteps fix.
  • Reworked receivers so that they now follow a standard progression from Standard to Advanced. This means that the weapon can now be semi-automatic or fully automatic.
  • Balance adjustments:
    • Slightly reduced attack delay from 0.3 to 0.2.
    • Lowered ammo capacity from 20 to 16.
    • Increased bash damage from 4 to 6.
    • Reduced weight from 7 to 4.
    • Decreased value from 75 to 30.
    • Decreased damage from 35 to 20.
  • Added new attachments:
    • Short Light Barrel
    • Long Light Barrel
    • Large Quick Eject Magazine
    • Quick Eject Drum Magazine
    • Long Scope
    • Short Night Vision Scope
    • Medium Night Vision Scope
    • Long Night Vision Scope
  • Changed the .308 caliber receiver to a .38 caliber receiver.
  • Changed aim model to now use the pipe gun's aim model.
  • Weapon now uses the same sounds as the vanilla pipe gun.


HANDMADE REVOLVER
  • Weapon now uses .357 caliber rounds from Munitions as the default ammo type.
  • Brand new LL injection- weapon will now appear on Raiders, Minutemen, bosses, vendors, and as legendary drops starting at level 7.
  • Reworked receiver upgrades so that they follow a standard progression from Standard to Advanced.
  • Added the ability to switch between .357 caliber, .45 caliber, .308 caliber, and 12 gauge ammo types.
  • Changed firing sounds to something more appropriate- .357 uses .44 pistol sounds, .45 uses pipe revolver sounds, and .308 uses hunting rifle sounds. 12 gauge ammo types still use the combat shotgun sounds.
  • Balance adjustments:
    • Reduced weight from 4 to 3.5.
    • Slightly increased value from 30 to 35.
    • Increased damage from 30 to 38. The .45 caliber conversion had its damage reduced but the fire rate increased.
  • Added new attachments:
    • Short Scope
    • Medium Scope
    • Short Night Vision Scope
    • Medium Night Vision Scope
    • Long Night Vision Scope
  • Removed Bull Barrel and No Barrel attachments.
  • Reworked how the muzzles worked so that all barrels can attach compensators, muzzle brakes, and suppressors. Short barrels (standard, light, and ported) are still the only ones that can attach bayonets. (This is similar to how this originally worked, but I re-implemented it in a way that's easier to understand.)


M1 GARAND
  • Weapon now uses .30-06 caliber rounds.
  • Brand new LL injection- weapon will now appear on on Gunners, Raider bosses, Minutemen, bosses, vendors, and as legendary drops starting at level 17.
  • Renamed weapon to Battle Rifle as seen in Fallout: New Vegas.
  • Lowered the reload sounds.
  • Reworked receiver upgrades so that they follow a standard progression from Standard to Advanced.
  • Balance adjustments:
    • Increased bash damage from 4 to 6.
    • Decreased value from 120 to 105.
    • Decreased damage from 45 to 39.
  • Added new attachments: 
    • Long Light Barrel
    • Marksman's Stock
    • Recoil Compensating Stock
    • Compensator
    • Calibrated Receiver
    • Heavy Frame Receiver
    • Hardened Receiver
    • Advanced Receiver
  • Removed Blue Betty's custom legendary effect and replaced it with the Staggering legendary effect.
  • Removed This Machine's custom legendary effect and replaced it with the Kneecapper legendary effect.
  • Removed the tape crafting options. Blue Betty still has its own tape unless you use the optional weapon skins patch.
  • Removed the custom animations from Blue Betty.
  • Removed the standalone M1 Garand bayonet weapon. (This can still be added via console commands.)
  • Reworded parts of Richard's Letter to fix some spelling/grammar mistakes.
  • Weapon now uses vanilla instance naming rules (INNR).
  • Added an optional patch that adds support for OhDeerSKR's M1 Garand Skin Packs mod. See the Optional Patches section for more details.


SVT-40
  • Brand new LL injection- weapon will now appear on Raiders, Gunners, Nuka-World gangs, bosses, vendors, and as legendary drops starting at level 16.
  • Renamed weapon to Soviet Battle Rifle.
  • Lowered the reload sounds.
  • Changed the ammo type to use 7.62mm rounds from the Nuka-World DLC.
  • Added new attachments: 
    • Short Light Barrel
    • Long Light Barrel
    • Marksman's Stock
    • Recoil Compensating Stock
    • Advanced Receiver
    • Medium Scope
    • Long Scope
    • Short Night Vision Scope
    • Medium Night Vision Scope
    • Long Night Vision Scope
  • Reduced the damage on the Azureus and Krasnaya Zima unique weapons from 55 to 40 to match the standard variants.
  • Removed the custom legendary effect from Azureus and replaced it with the Poisoner's legendary effect.
  • Removed the custom legendary effect from Krasnaya Zima and replaced it with the Freezing legendary effect.
  • Removed the joke/meme vodka receiver on the Krasnaya Zima unique weapon.
  • Removed the standalone SVT-40 bayonet weapon. (This can still be added via console commands.)
  • Added an optional patch that adds support for OhDeerSKR's SVT-40 Skin Packs mod. See the Optional Patches section for more details.


VARMINT RIFLE
  • Weapon now uses .223 caliber rounds from Munitions.
  • Brand new LL injection- weapon will now appear on Raiders, Minutemen, Far Harbor Trappers, bosses, vendors, and as legendary drops starting at level 6.
  • Integrated MischiefBrew0's power armor footsteps fix.
  • Balance adjustments:
    • Increased weapon range to match the vanilla hunting rifle.
    • Decreased weight from 6 to 5.
    • Decreased base damage from 37 to 27.
    • Lowered weapon firing and reload speed to 1.25. This should fix an issue with jerky animations when firing and reloading.
  • Added new attachments:
    • Short Light Barrel
    • Long Light Barrel
    • Marksman's Stock
    • Quick Eject Magazine
    • Medium Quick Eject Magazine
    • Large Quick Eject Magazine
    • Bayonet
    • Compensator
    • Advanced Receiver
  • Removed spray painted weapon skins.
  • Removed Ratslayer's custom legendary effect and replaced it with the Nocturnal legendary effect.
  • Removed LazGun's custom legendary effect and replaced it with the Incendiary legendary effect.
  • Removed the LazGun unique weapon from appearing in the world. (This can still be manually added via console commands.)
  • Recolored the blue tape texture for use on the newly-added Marksman's stock attachment.
  • Added an optional patch that changes the ammo type to .22 caliber rounds from Munitions. See the Optional Patches section for more details.


ALL WEAPONS
  • Added many new attachment modcols and object templates to better match those found on vanilla weapons.
  • Unique weapons now have a chance of appearing with a greater variety of attachments.
  • Weapon paints/skins now use the vanilla material attachment point and require materials to craft.
  • Removed tapes, stickers, meme stuff, and custom zoom options.
  • Brand new LL injection using DankRafft's Leveled Item Fixes mod.
  • Adjusted the stats, crafting recipes, and perk requirements for nearly all attachments so that they more closely match their respective vanilla attachments.
  • Fixed a few issues where weapon upgrades returned incorrect loose mods (or none at all).
  • Fixed a number of spelling/grammar errors and inconsistencies.


OPTIONAL PATCHES
  • Weapon Skins Patch: Adds support and integration for OhDeerSKR's M1 Garand Skin Packs and SVT-40 Skin Packs mods. These skins will appear on weapons used by legendary enemies. Additionally, this patch removes the tape from the Blue Betty unique and adds the Bayside weapon skin.
  • Varmint Rifle .22 Ammo Patch: This changes the Varmint Rifle's ammo type from .223 caliber to .22 caliber. Additionally, this patch lowers the weapon damage to 14, increases the base critical damage multiplier to 3, and changes the LL injection script to start appearing at level 2.


Due to the leveled list injection changes made by this mod, a new save is recommended so that the weapon isn't added twice into your game.

COMPATIBILITY & KNOWN ISSUES
If you use Equipment and Crafting Overhaul (ECO) and want ECO integration, you should use Weapon Integration Project instead of this mod for the most consistent experience.

Due to the changes made in this mod, you may have to modify any existing weapons on the workbench for attachments/skins to appear correctly. However, a new game is still recommended for the best experience.

This mod does not make any changes to the standalone releases of the weapons from in the original mod.

This mod will likely conflict with any other mod that modifies the weapons from the original mod.
