Far Harbor, the addon that introduced chicken thighs as a food item, was released in 2015. Season 2 of Breaking Bad, where Gus Fring and his restaurant chain were introduced, first aired in 2009. This six year gap raises the question why on earth - apart from obviously solvable copyright and lore issues - we weren't able to cook up some succulent fried chicken hermanos style ourselves despite having all the tools for it. But why am I even telling you this? You've probably asked yourself the same question a million times already. Well, I can tell you that the times of head scratching are over and Fallout 4 is finally a complete experience thanks to this mod.
Upon installing it you will find a new recipe in the roast section of the cooking workbench. The fried chicken you get to craft and devour comes in a cardbordesque box. I actually used the Slocum's Joe Buzzbites box (Yes, that is indeed a vanilla food item. Nobody knows about it but I swear it's real!) as a base and added a custom texture. As much as I'd like to tell you that I did this for my personal enjoyment the truth is I hated every second of making this since I don't really enjoy fiddling with textures. I made this simply because somebody had to. By the way, I created this entirely with Paint. That should tell you all you need to know about my level of expertise with textures.
I didn't put it into leveled lists or anything like that though, the reason being that IMO any ever so slight hint of possible compatibility issues wouldn't make it logically permissible to download this mod.
But now enough with the chit-chat... It's time to indulge!
