About this mod

Cleans up normally permanent slime, leaves, trash, debris. Makes Cov interiors scrapable. Includes Taffington Boathouse DCnR as it is so close it uses the same vis files. Precombines/Previs rebuilt. ESP Flagged

What does this mod do?
  • Cleans(disables) the normally permanent leaves, trash, junk, and trash that was part of the landscape/terrain.
  • Does NOT modify normally scrapable objects, trash or otherwise.
  • Includes both settlements, Taffington Boathouse Deep Clean and Remodel, is the stand along version that doesn't have Covenant updated.
Taffington Boathouse:
  • House, roof, ceiling and rails are fully repaired using lore appropriate parts. 
  • All Rails/Posts can be scrapped or built via workshop.
  • Repaired roof and ceiling can be scrapped
  • Small Boathouse - Warehouse doors on the back, and ladder inside, can be scrapped. Trap parts scrap with door.

Covenant:
  • Rooms inside each house are fully clearable, including light effects. 
  • Most normally unremovable objects are now either buildable or just scrapable in workshop mode they include:
  • Workshop->Furniture->Beds->Double Bed & Double Bunk beds, actually work as a bed that counts for 2 people, animations included!
  • Workshop->Wood->Misc->Turret platforms - can be scraped and crafted, they mush into wall a bit but overall work. Works better with Place Everywhere
  • Penny's Shop is now tied to a floor mat. The mat can be moved or scrapped. No other settlers can be assigned to it.
  • Power poles now scrapable, removes attached power lines
  • Store counters now scrapable directly.
  • Ground plowing furrow object under the crops can be scrapped.
  • All doorways have door snap points allowing for the use of different doors.
  • Workshop->Furniture->Tables->Clean End table now craftable/scrapable
  • All Light fixtures can be fully scrapped, and light effects scrap with them 
  • Concrete Barricades in front of entrance, called Jersey Barricades, can now be scrapped or built under Struct->Concrete->Misc
  • All Covenant settlers (including Deezer) can be updated to take full workshop commands, assuming they are alive. This is optional feature, and requires the player activate a button on the right side of the workshop. The button can be scrapped after the update. Swanson is not affected for some reason.

Both settlements:
  • Requires my Library Plugin to prevent workshop object duplication. Adds 24 new workshop buildable items.
  • Precombines/Previs rebuilt, it overlaps between the two settlement hence the merging of them into this one mod.
  • ESL Flagged - Mod no longer counts against the 255 plugin cap.

All in one is done -> Commonwealth Deep Clean and Remodel Collection
  • This mod is part of the CDCRC ^^^
  • All vanilla settlements are included except for Oberland Station and Boston Airport.
  • The installer will allow player to pick and choose which settlements they want. 

Mod Compatibility & SS2

  • To improve compatibility load this mod last.
  • This is a stand alone version, not specifically patched for SS2 or any other mod series.
  • Checked SS2 resources, should be compatible. Will test directly via playthrough once I am done with DLC Settlements.

Load Order and Visual glitches "Breaking Previs"
  • This mod has updated Precombine and Previs (PnP) files, for load order purposes that means it must be loaded after other mods that also have PnP files.
  • PnP in a nutshell -> “There can be only one"
  • The LOOT team was updated about 3 different PnP mods to auto-sort against, but there are too many to potentially count, so place my mods lower down on the list as is reasonable.
  • One of the three mods LOOT should auto-sort for is PRP. This mod is a PnP overhaul mod, that drastically helps with stability and performance. I strongly recommend using this mod. If one of my DCnR mods doesn't auto sort below PRP make sure to add a custom rule or manually sort it out.
  • If any of the content from one of my mods is invisible, blinking in and out, or NOT showing at all there could be a conflict with the load order could be off due to PnP file conflicts

Cleaner Settlement Pro-tips & Help:
  • Load this, or any DCnR mod last in the load order.
  • Raze My Settlement - Auto collects the loose objects like weapons, ammo, crafting materials, etc. Removes normally scrapable, and occasionally normally NOT removable objects (when Precombines are not affected),  all automatically via holotape. Multiple options in tape including keeping trees.
  • To use the mod, run the "Raze my settlement"  holotape, select "Raze" option to auto clear the settlement.
  • Place Everywhere - in workshop mode hit insert key to make more object types selectable and scrapable! Respects Precombines!
  • Scrap Dead Things Still researching this, but its really popular!
  • Blood splatters - In workshop mode, place a floor based object over top of the blood - use something like a food dish or other object that wont carry the decal/stain with it. Pick up the object, the decal/stain should be gone.
