If you want conceled armor without AWKCR or AE then download Armor and Clothing Overhaul by Dank Rafft.

You know this mod, requires neither of those, right?

Wrong, Concealed Armors includes a bootleg version of AWKCR. And even if it didn't, Armor and Clothing Overhaul is stable and will not crash your game.
Besides, I only mentioned AWKCR and AE because some people do not like using those mods.

Or use my Hidden Armors mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/38440), which is basically my attempt to rewrite this mod without any AWKCR shenanigans.

I was CTD every time I used my armor workbench with this mod, craftable armor size, and legendary modification. I didn't realize it was Armorsmith Extended that was the issue until I saw this post. Now using ACO to conceal armors and the other two mods everything works fine with the latest version of AWKCR. Thank you for you help.

Too bad ACO cannot work without the DLC, so this is my best option.

For a mod that is suppose to work with AWKCR or AE, it sure as hell crashes hard with them

For anyone who still want's to use this today, because Armorsmith Extended is overkill, try the following.

    Install Concealed Armor
+ Concealed Armor for Far Harbor and Nuka World DLC
+ AWKCR 3.2 or higher (I recommend 3.2, as it comes with less mod slot clutter)
I also recommend installing "AWKCR - Color Swap Mod Slot Hider" to hide the useless color swap mod slot.

    Load order:
    - ArmorKeywords.esm
    - ConcealedArmor.esm
    - ConcealedArmor.esp
    - AWKCR - Color Swap Mod Slot Hider.esp

Make sure ArmorKeywords.esm from ConcealedArmor is overwritten by AWKCR
and ConcealedArmor.esp is overwritten by "Concealed Armor for Far Harbor and Nuka World DLC"

I also recommend using More Armor Slots, so you can wear your hidden armor with any dress or suit.

    No crashes so far.

If I read it correctly, based on this page, first sticky:
      https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6091?tab=posts
ArmorKeywords.esm should be towards the bottom, below other armor mods.

      @NexTextGorilla . . .
AWKCR is a Shared Resource mod and should be up at the top underneath the Unofficial Patch.
It's Armoursmith Extended that should be below any armour mods but above any patches for it.
and if you're using AE with this mod, load it before AE.

@ monochrony, I wish there was a way to make your post a Sticky. Unfortunately, there isn't without someone who's either the author or an appointed caretaker for this mod and Posts Section.

      @monochrony

I tried to shove a cookie through my monitor for you but it just would NOT work, and the mess! ;) I gave you a Kudos instead.

Thank you for showing me (us) how to use this old mod that I found I needed again since not playing Horizon in my new save (which has this and a zillion other convenient things in it). You're a peach.

I'll be glad to be proven wrong, with steps showing me HOW I am wrong and how to fix it.

After about 8 hours, no I'm not kidding ... this mods seems to have created a bug that it will NO LONGER ( it did with great success ) working with workbenches.

    Especially:
Crafting Workbenches - Craftable Weapons Armor Clothing Ammo Junk
    https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2451?tab=files

Now it worked fine a good year ago .... I've been gone from FO 4 for " awhile " ...

But no matter what / how I load this - reinstall, either the armor works, but you can * NOT * upgrade them at all and the benches ( including the vanilla workbench at times ) just wont work, CTD when you go to them or just VANISH from the floor and are not visible in the workbench mode.

YOU REMOVE THIS PROGRAM AND EVERYTHING IS BACK ...

Since the author has not been on Nexus since 2018, I'm guessing we are on our own???
    . o O ( go see the bug section )

My common sense is saying, a lot of the mods and the vanilla game have been updated since the last release of this MOD that it needs some serious tweaking.

I WOULD NOT ADVISE USING THIS MOD AT THIS TIME!

    . o O ( It was such a great mod!!! )

With the way hair interacts with helmets in this game I don't think it's feasible, as nisas said in the description. Your best bet is trying some kind of mod that unequips the helmet situationally or with a keybind. Sorry my dude.

Is there any chance this could be extended to power armor pieces? Partial armor looks amazing with certain modded frames but taking off pieces is not good for my health...

This mod still works perfectly fine.

Just ensure you overwrite the AWKR included in this mod with the latest AWKR. In other words, load Concealed Armours (and the Concealed Armours DLC patch) before AWKR.

Just delete the AWKCR file from the mod, and then overwrite the esp with the one from this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13763
