Hmm... This is pretty sweet, but I'm more inclined for 'Sympathy for the Devil', 'Gimme Shelter', or 'Fortunate Son' for my gunship experiences (with an honorable mention to 'Sunshine of Your Love' ), though they are WAY outside of the realm of possibilities in the normal (heh... with mods?) Fallout Universe. But, barring those, '...Valkyries' is a perfect choice if it was an ambient soundtrack replacement, and not a simple full engine-noise replacement.
Maybe we could create a custom radio station and somehow use the geck to flag vertibirds as a radio that plays that station. Then we could have a playlist of like 10-12 classic vietnam era songs.
why not take both sound tracks over lay one over the other so both the sound of the vertibird engines and the song can play so it seems like both are going on at the same time
Doing a song/sfx overlay in any audio editor would be a piece of cake. If I knew how to get my hands on the two sound files I would do this and upload the resulting .wav file. This is a task that would take maybe 15 min.
I also think an option to just throw an audio file into a folder to have it be played instead would be awesome. I myself have a large number of song selections that would suit heading off into battle. XD
It's kind of easy to replace the soundtrack with your own. Just do a wav file rename it and your good to go I am doing James Brown myself LONG TALL SALLY get 3 or 4 verti"s playing that a one time blow out your speakers.
Manually installed this and it does not work, have been man installing since Morrowind. Dragged and dropped files where they should be, my dot ini is prepped, CBBE installed and working. Why this drag and drop not work for me ?

There is an issue with multiple vertabirds playing the song at the same time but it doesn't happen often enough to warrant a major complaint.
I can send you a tutorial on how to change the song if you like? Just PM me.
Can't really see it as something the BOS would play... but it would be awesome for future mods that might add the same transport for other factions
