Thanks for YAFOMM, it is 2024 and it works for me. At least for all mods with esp files. Another mod folder location would have been great though (is it possible to change it?).

MO2 and other mod managers fail to load at all (MO2 : ERROR: no prefix found). And I already used flatseal and a prefix is there. Probably a version conflict with protontricks, so they told on the internet.
I work with Pop OS, steam and protontricks are flatpaks. I still didn't give up on MO2...

For anyone here, who has problems using a computer (those who blame others for their incompetence) - backup your files lol!

Next step would be, to try loading loose files with YAFOMM (stuff like homemaker mods)
I usually play the game like 100-140h, but modding and testing the perfect immersive game takes some time too.
But @Kielyuri: You are probably right.

To whomever is reading this, don't bother with this one, it's wholly outdated. The game changed internally for this not to work anymore. A working alternative? Mod Organiser 2. Search it on the Skyrim Spec. Ed. Page. That's still updating and supports most bethesda games.

Congratulations, you f***ed up my load order completely, AND MY GAME FILES. Maybe you should leave modding to the professionals. Because of this mod I have had to re download ALL of my mods and My game files.

Congratulations, you fucked up my load order completely. I think I actually have to redo the little edit you need to do in the games files to get mods working. You really fucked up everything for me.

Same here 1.7 update changes the format of plugin.txt. Would you consider to update YAFOMM to be compatible with new plugin.txt?
now its in the Fallout 4 Directory Thank you.

for the ones that don't know this you have to only copy Plugin txt to your Fallout 4 Dir ?
