A Hotkey Mod to add hotkeys for things you didn't know you needed, until you needed them. This is basically a "port" from my Skyrim Mod of the same name that evolved into a fully integrated version of the first ever vanilla like controls mod, with some additional functions that I felt were needed, and no other Fallout 4 Hotkey Mod has added yet.
Auto save hotkey: creates an auto save(not quicksave) that can be used even if you are playing Survival mode, and will cycle through 3 saves
Toggle Ambient Music: toggles ambient music on/off(this includes battle music) outside of menus
Toggle Radio Music: this refers to Pip Boy Radio outside of the menu
Unequip Current Weapon: unequips current equipped weapon. Use vanilla hotkeys to reequip
Unequip Current Throwable: unequips current equipped throwable, without corrupting current equipped weapon. Use vanilla quick keys to reequip
Toggle Collision: toggles physical collision of the player...make sure you did not select any other reference in console, or it doesn't work
Toggle Menus: toggles virtually ALL menus on/off...and by virtually I mean literally all menus, including the settings menu
Toggle Free Cam: for screenshot glory...automatically sets up the correct parameters for that case
Toggle Game Pause: this instantly pauses anything related to the game, except some background animations that are handled by meshes
Toggle God Mode: God Mode on/off...for debugging, or cheating if you must
Instant Quit Game: this hotkey will instantly throw you out of the game to the desktop. Make sure to save before, and not accidentally hit it!
Quick Sunglass Shader: Applies a Sunglass like Image Space Modifier. Sometimes the sun is just blinding
Quick Force Weather: A quick and dirty solution to change weather on the fly...at higher levels Radstorms just became a nuisance, and sometimes I just love rain! It has an "immersion" toggle to only work with weather shells in your inventory, and it can be toggle dto force, or naturally transist weather
Quick Nightvision: Same as the Sunglass shader, only it's using the vanilla Nightvision imagespace and it has an "immersion" toggle, so it does only work in PA
Detect Corpse Shader: Applies a shader to dead actors for easy detection, when, for example, using mode with rich vegetation
Toggle Subtitles: As the name suggests, it will allow you to toggle subtitles in game
Toogle Auto Loot: Toggles Auto Loot feature on/off
Teleport Companion: Summon(Teleport) current companion to your position with nice visual and acoustic FX
Set Companion Behaviour: Adjust the current companion's combat behaviour: Coward Mode(never attacks and will always flee), Default Mode(will stay defensive and initiate combat only when attacked or player starts combat), Rage Mode(will fight to the bitter end, and initiate combat with enemy faction...for example, for X6-88 Robots and Synth are NOT enemies).
Toggle Motion Type: Allows you to toggle a world objects motion type to either havok simulated(aka physics) or static...or in other words allows you to freeze an object in its place
Toggle Grass: Toggles Grass display On/Off
Show settlement Information: Show info about settler sex, employed state, and how much food/water/weapons are available to the specific settlement
There are also two context based toggle in the MCM menu that will allow using the weather, and Nightvision hotkey only if you are carrying Weather Mortars(DLC05, for weather change hotkey), or you are in Power Armor(Nightvision). Keep them off if you don't want any "immersive" restrictions.
What do we need?
You'll need F4SE and from version 1.1 on you'll need all DLC's.
More functions?
The function from Skyrim that allowed you to delete virtually every item from inside the SkyUI menu is missing. The functions necessary to make this work for FO4 do exist, but they do not produce the same results. I'm still trying to work out what exactly has internally changed for FO4 to why this gets omitted by the engine.
If you have a good idea for a function based hotkey feature, let me know.
Support for 3rd party Mods?
Yes, that's possible. Currently there's support for the Auto Loot Mod by FireUnDubh
There are other Hotkey Mods, that did it before or better than your Mod!
I don't care if the Egg or the Chicken came first. I prefer my way. And it's certainly not the first UI/Control based Mod I developed. If I have to build customized console functions, and/or .bat files to achieve my very personal needs, I can just do my own Hotkey Mod as well, right?
I want to report a bug!
