About this mod

Adds lighting to tracers combined with terrain / object penetration framework

Requirements
Permissions and credits
All credit goes to Ryanjp89 for making the tracer models and lightning in ILB and jojosmo for the time and work creating Real Time Cover Penetration. I simply combined the two. Shoutout to Seb263 @ Weapons of Fate as I used his 75% projectile speeds for reference also Dank Raft because of ECO.

Please endorse the original mod authors as all I did was type numbers and letters into a text box.

This esp overrides Projectile data so any mods that change those records will get overwritten or not be compatible.

This may work on modded weapons even with custom ammunition as they usually reference the base projectiles (The ones this esp edits) i.e. Combined arms 9x19 uses the base games 10mm projectile and should work accordingly.

Unfortunately the base game does not differentiate between larger calibers (projectiles) and they are clumped into AssaultRifleProjectile. Due to this limitation I set the highest penetration damage to 40. Considering the variety of different weapon / overhaul mods out there I opted to keep it at 40 and let others custom tailor to their specification.

The damage values for the penetrating projectiles are as follows

38 special: 10 damage
10mm / 357: 20 penetration damage
5mm: 30 penetration damage
AssaultRifleProjectile (50 cal / 308 / 5.56): 40 damage

projectile speed is reduced by half (roughly) after penetrating

KNOWN ISSUES / WIP:

Suppressors: I did edit the suppressor projectile however I believe I may need to adjust the OMODs to get it to work correctly which if thats the case I may leave that up to the user.

Self Damage: Some users (including myself) have found that shooting at certain types / angles of bare ground produces some odd interactions. Sometimes it ricochets like in the video above, other times it hits the user. If this is happening please let me know in the comments. I recommend switching either the initial projectile or spawned projectile to BEAM. You can switch both to BEAM however at that point theres no point in the ILB portion. Lastly in my case im getting hit by the spawned projectile (penetrating) whereas others have stated they are getting hit by the initial projectile. If you think your getting hit by the spawned projectile you can mod dense on armor or add the bulwark legendary effect to reduce explosion damage.
