Changelogs
Version 2
Greatly reduced the contents of medkits in Point Lookout (copied over changes from the Commonwealth).
Added one addictol to Haley's Hardware.
Greatly reduced ammo drops and ammo ammounts vendors sell.
Leather, Metal armor outfits (and stealth suit) can use railroad linings. I had a change of heart.
Version 1
Weapon damage matches LFO balance
Weapon upgrade stats and perk requirements tweaked. New recievers added when needed.
Weapon modcols added so NPCs spawn with more than just standard versions.
Increased the damage of the new .32 caliber weapons for balance.
Removed a script that increased damage several weapons did in the hands of NPCs.
Removed Railroad lining option from several hats and armors.
Adjusted the armor ratings of metal and leather outfits to match the sets
Adjusted foods to fit LFO design.
Less stimpaks in first aid kits
Added antibiotics to first aid kits.
Reduced loot somewhat.
Point Lookout vendors have slightly unique inventories and sell more .32 caliber ammo.
NPC Encounter Zones changed to improve scaling.
Point Lookout setters have LFO functionality and spawn with a better pool of weapons.
Bandits, Tribals and Swamp Folk have had lots of level spawn and weapon spawn changes to make them hopefully scale well in LFO.
Ferral ghouls should be a little more challenging.
This patch includes multiple changes to make Point Lookout as nice an experience as I can when using Lunar Fallout Overhaul. There are a lot of balance changes and a few quality of life improvements to make the experience fit better with the rest of the Commonwealth.
Disclaimer
Point Lookout is quite an accomplishment. However, I think it was designed to fit with the rest of the Fallout 3 remake more so than to fit into Fallout 4, which I completely understand. This does mean, however, that some design choices make balance changes a little more difficult. While I feel happy enough with this patch in its current state to share it, it still has some rough edges. In particular, NPC difficulty feels off in some cases (but is mostly in a good place). With feedback, hopefully I can continue to make improvements.
Details
I'd recommend going to Point Lookout after level 20 as I have increased difficulty. The area should scale fairly well from level 10-60.
Weapons have been overhauled to match Lunar Fallout balance.
