    Please use the XBOX 360 Controller Emulation in the software as that is what I have tested on and see no 'issues'.
    You must use the default port of 6969 from the software.


    IF THE TRIGGER ISN'T WORKING ON FIRST LOAD, REMEMBER TO RE-EQUIP THE WEAPON.

    If using this mod it is currently not compatible with DSX V3 Beta. This has been a small test but it did seem to provide results when swapping from V3 to V2.
    If you have the driver error when going back to DSX V3 specifically with VigmeBus. Uninstall it and launch V2 and itll install it for you again with an older one.
    You will then have the ability to finally use adaptive triggers if swapped onto the XBOX 360 emulator. 

    Trust me I have tried different installs you need to use V2 non beta. I have done the 360 emulator on V3 and it just wouldnt do the adaptive triggers.

      v3 beta does not support interactions with plugins yet so i can't update this one to work with it. It will probably be broken by the fallout 4 update thats supposed to come later anyways.

      If the mod doesn't work with V3 Beta, please update the installation instructions in the description to say to use V2 instead of V3 Beta.

    i used both xbox and dualsence emulation. but iam not able to get the adaptive triger working

    Any plans for making something like this but for Starfield?

    I'd do it myself but I have no idea where to start, and my coding knowledge is limited, but I'd be willing to learn.

      Its planned once the SFSE common lib has been worked on more.

    I’m pretty sure this is a problem on my end,
    but when I’m running DSX and I have this mod installed, the adaptive triggers work, but the rumble of the controller turns off entirely other than when the trigger is held down for an automatic weapon

    Is that intentional or is rumble not available when adaptive triggers are? Perhaps my settings are incorrect?

      I would mess with the rumble settings in the app.  I also play wired so that could play a part

      I play exclusively wired, I tried both improved rumble on and off and at max, oddly enough the only time the rumble worked alongside the adaptive triggers was this one time when the game crashed and I closed DSX app, but left the files in the data folder. When I booted up, both rumble and adaptive triggers work, but I haven’t been able to recreate that after a recent crash

      You are using  the xbox 360 profile as well?

      Apologies on the long delay, haven’t had a chance to test up until now.
      initially I did not have the Xbox 360 emulation set, I just had it off.

      I changed it to the Xbox360 and I’ve noticed that sometimes the adaptive triggers work, still with no additional rumble, I’ve also noticed that now when selecting dialogue or even on the menus, using the sticks will skip options, as in it will jump between menu options as opposed to going to each individual.

      Oddly enough, I noticed sometimes when I close out DSX mid-game, the adaptive triggers will keep working, but then the normal rumble will kick in too, but it doesn’t always do that

      did you turn off the controller support in steam for the skyrim game?
      Right click the game in steam and choose properties.
      Controller support should be disabled.

    Is there a tutorial on how to make this mod? I really love the mod and was hoping to make one for STARFIELD but ill be happy if you already have  plans for it

      You can look at more source code, but it depends on other devs making it moddable internally for us :)
      I probably will make one if that is the case

      ok thanks Im not much of a coder but  Im ready to learn  and give it a try and I hope you get the time make this awesome mod for starfield too .there is also a cool adaptive triggers mod with sliders  for cyberpunk maybe the code for that could help.

    Great Mod! I've used it for a while now and everything worked fine, although suddenly for some reason, after a minute or so ingame it stops recognizig the adaptive triggers. The controller is still recognized and when i swap to a different weapon it recognizes the trigger resistance again for a few seconds - a minute. Is it possible this has to do with DSX itself or the mod or something?

    (I didn't really add anything except a Ghillie suit mod and synth armor/weapon texture overhaul, which i guess shouldnt conflict with this mod?)

    P. S. im still very new to modding so maybe its obvious and I'm just blind. ^^

      Hmm.. that shouldn't be happening.  Do you see a red UDP light in DSX App?  Also is that light still lit when you lose control?

    Is there a way to set it up so it disables when you are in the pipboy ? I dont want the adaptive triggers when im in menus ( or a different setup than weapon resistance). I know I can unequip the gun and it turns off but that can be tedious when you are in and out of menus

      There is but i'd have to figure out how that works and dig through the code.. I am barely supporting this mod - so no new features unfortunately as I am looking to support new games.

    I don't understand how this mod works at all.
    meaning, i have everything needed however then when you shoot it does nothing. i can't every time stop the game to manually change the effect on dsx.

      You installed this incorrectly then. I would be mad if i had to set the settings manually as well. LOL
      This will only work with the steam version of DSX.  Make sure you see the green light 'UDP' ont he DSX program light up when you switch weapons in side of fallout 4.  If not, then you are not getting a connection for some reason.  I would follow up in DSX discord.

      Is it the newest version of the F4SE Address Library?
      Are you running Fallout correctly by using the F4SE launcher?

      My client has been being runned by default exe, though till this mod i had no problems with over 200+ mods. Idiotism. Ty for the answer.

      hmmm did you try running f4se launcher directly instead of through mo2? I assume you get the same issue with Relocation?  i'm not exactly sure what your issue is.

      Apparently there was a new version of F4SE released not too long ago in october 2022 or something like that.  Make sure you have updated for the latest there as well as the address library.

      Thanks - I've updated f4se to make sure I'm running the latest version and are still getting an error, though not the exact same one:

      "REL/Relocation.h(600): failed to open: Data/F4SE/Plugins/version-1-10-163-0.bin"

      How did you install your address library? If you goto the file directory, do you see what i do?


      That bin file means you installed it correctly.  If you don't have it, you did not install address library correctly.

      Yeah that's what I'm missing in my file directory and the part I don't really understand how goes wrong, as I followed the instructions. Sorry to ask stupid questions, but which part of the installation is the address library? Because that file isn't included with your mod.

      Of course yes! Don't know how I missed that when looking at the requirements... but thank you so much for taking the time to help me out! All is working perfect now and much appreciated for sharing the mod.
