Greetings

It is always a good idea to check mods you downloaded for conflicts in FO4Edit. It saves much time and allows you to have various mods active that should conflict with each other.

The ESP plugin in this mod is flagged as an ESL and will not occupy 1 of your ESP slots.


I rarely take a closer look at chems in my inventory. But one time i did. And i was shocked to realize my character uses a needle to inject Antibiotics into her beautiful body. Antibiotics by default use the mesh of Psycho which looks dirty and ... is a needle. Antibiotics have to be pills.

This mod is inspired by a similiar mod. Here's the link.

However, that mod didn't satisfy me. The mesh of Psycho got replaced by the mesh of Buffout. That's a step forward, but it's still not iMmErSiVe enough. There's a huge label with "Buffout" on Antibiotics. So i copied and changed the texture of Buffout. Now it says "Antibiotics", because that's the truth.

No, that doesn't change the texture of Buffout. Antibiotics have a new mesh and have their own "Material" and their own 3 textures (d, n and s). I altered both the d and the s texture. The n texture does not affect the label. I copied it and changed the name just in case you have a mod installed that changes all 3 Buffout textures.

That means this mod here is not very prone to mod conflicts, except the ESP plugin. If you have a huge overhaul mod installed that changes the entry of Antibiotics, that will interfere with my mod.

There are 2 versions you can download here:
- Standard
- Immersive Animation Framework integration

"Standard" will only change the mesh and the sounds (pickup and consumption). "Immersive Animation Framework Integration" will require Immersive Animation Framework and changes the animation that plays when you consume Antibiotics.

The letters aren't perfect. I made them pixel by pixel because i'm an idiot and don't know better. Because the word "Antibiotics" is longer than "Buffout", the word "Original" doesn't fit nicely between the big first and last letters. That's why i deleted the word "Original". If you're not happy with that, feel free to use my mod as a foundation for your own mod with improved textures. Or just upload a mod with the correct textures to overwrite my textures. Just add them to a folder which looks like that:
