Part of a set of texture replacements I have lined up that address what I believe to be shortcomings in otherwise great standard FO4 textures.
This is a personal edit of the male and female base head textures.
The issues I had with the Vanilla texture were as follows:
Too many imperfections for a base texture.
Spec map looked too shiny in places
Nostrils looked fake,
female lips looked like they had permanent lip gloss.
I have edited the Diffuse, normal and spec files for both male and female maintaining the base games optimum resolutions (not compatible with the HD texture pack) The result is a better base to work with when adding in imperfections using the character creator whilst maintaining the seamless blend with the vanilla neck and body textures.
