Portable Laser Cannon
Ever wanted artillery support but there was no artillery installations near by? Why not carry it with you? Afraid the ammo is too heavy especially if the ammo only works in one weapon? Can't choose between a devastating area effect weapon or an armor piercing, mirelurk queen destroyer? Then you need a Portable Laser Cannon!The PLC (Portable Laser Cannon) is an energy weapon with a huge storage capacity. No need to carry extra ammo, just charge it up and go. Its support software, besides handling charging, allows you, in the field, to switch between Area of effect explosive shells and anti-armor shells.
List of features:
- Using the support software, drain ammo from other energy weapons into the charge storage in the PLC
- Also use the support software to activate explosive rounds, only slightly less powerful than a mini nuke.
- Or set the rounds to ignore 30% of DR while also penetrating glass and other soft cover.
- Using a weapons workbench, change the stock, optics, etc.
- This is a player only, unique weapon. Raiders will not be attacking you with it.
- Two different styles. A gatling style and a rifle style. (Changeable at a workbench)
Warning! The area of effect shells are deadly! They do a lot of damage over large area. I am not responsible if you blow up your companion,
The one and only copy of the PLC in the game is in the basement of the Gunner's Plaza. Aren't you glad they have no idea what is in that box!
