ADDS LOOT TO MORE THAN 3,800 VEHICLES!
"GO4 (Gameplay Optimizations for Fallout 4) Lootable Vehicles" is a great mod for those who never seem to have enough loot, or hate spending hard-earned caps for it! The mod changes more than 3,800 wrecks of cars, pickups and large trucks of The Commonwealth into "containers" filled with up to 4 or more items you can use for crafting, of sell for extra caps. It's considered an immersive cheat mod, because it adds "cheats" to the game you can use without feeling like you're cheating. You won't find legendary items in the wrecks, just valuable things you would expect to find in a postwar vehicle, like screws, springs, circuitry, rubber, glass, and the random loot you usually find in public trashcans. I mean, if people hide items in dumpsters, they'd hide them in old cars, too! Right?
GO4 Lootable Vehicles is compatible with other mods, because it doesn't add, remove or move any vehicles in the game. It just makes them so that when you get close, you'll see the objects you can loot from them. It does NOT change the explodable vehicles in the game, so you can still have fun blowing them up and watching nearby raiders burn!

⚙️ HOW IT WORKS
GO4 Lootable Vehicles is a replacer mod. The mod makes 3,815 wrecked vehicles of the game lootable, including compact cars, coups, sedans, sports cars, station wagons, pickup trucks, big-rig trucks, Vault-Tec vans and other vans. These postwar wrecks (which were useless, static objects) still look like same, but are now transformed into loot-filled "junk chests". You may interact with them, as you do dumpsters and other containers. When you get close to one that is changed by this mod, a menu will pop up with a list of items you may take. They each have up to 4 items (more if you have the "Scrounger" or "Fortune Finder" perks).
? WHAT YOU GET
Items you can loot include those you'd find in the exterior, interior or engines of automobiles: aluminum, automobile parts you can scrap for steel, hubcaps, circuitry, cloth, fuses, glass, leather, oil, rubber, screws, springs, steel scrap. It also has random loot you'd normally find in trashcans or trash bins. If you have the "Scrounger" or "Fortune Finder" perks, you'll get the additional loot for them, too.

Wrecks changed by the mod that are in settlements can now be scrapped using the settlements' workshops.
