Prerequisites and Install?
It's a simple loose file mesh replacer for the Contraptions DLC(DLC05), so it's up to you how to handle it.
Will it ever stop?
Nope. As long as I'm encountering "what the f Bethesda, why you no snap here?"-moments, I'm going to keep editing meshes. I mean, you can't even fill a simple gap because there are no elements other than huge 2x2 foundations, but it's totally perfectly ok for Bethesda to allow building a huge gate, sunken half inside the floor(unmodded).
