Technical Video by Kris Takahashi:
A complete remake of the template npc mod but with much better info and stats
Adds a bare bones template companion named Steve, who was originally created by Seddon4494 that can be freely edited and changed by modders who want don't want to create a companion from scratch using the Fallout 4 Creation Kit. This version of Steve however has been rebuilt from complete scratch and Steve behaves like any normal companion in Fallout 4. He uses assets from X6-88 like the dialogue and facial animations when been dismissed.
► Notable Differences to this version of Steve when compared to the original Steve:
- Has dirty blonde hair instead of orange hair 👱
- Is marked Essential and can't be killed by anything ⚔️
- Is marked Doesn't effect stealth meter (Important feature as you don't want your companion breaking stealth) 🕵️♂️
- The player dialogue is slightly different and voiced 🗣️
- Has his own VoiceType 🎤
- Has his own Class 📚
- SPECIAL Stats have all their vaults set to 1 📊
- Wears a vault 111 jumpsuit with a Pipboy equipped 🧥
- Can be found near the gate entrance to Vault 111 🏞️
- Has his inventory empty to allow adding of weapons in the creation kit 🧰
- Uses assets from X6-88 Companion like teleporting, and dialogue 🤖
- Steve doesn't have any Affinity Quests or Likes and Dislikes setup 🤷♂️
