This mod replaces almost all the music in the base game, unfortunately it does not touch the DLC music. I originally made this music for Fallout 3, but someone asked me to port it to Fallout 4. I'm planning on making a proper music Overhaul for Fallout 4 and New Vegas in the future, but this will have to do for now.
This mod uses Complaint of The Commonwealth (COTC) as a base, however COTC is not required to use to use this mod. The reason I chose COTC as a base was because the way that mod deploys music in-game is closer to Fallout 3, making it easier to port my music into Fallout 4.
This will potentially replace all music files in your game directory, so be sure to back those up if you want to go back to vanilla.
This is a music replacer for Fallout 3 inspired by The Last of Us, Fallout 1, Silent Hill and The Long Dark. The music can be previewed on my Bandcamp page if you want to hear it in hd quality without all the Fallout sound effects - https://jaredpoolaw.bandcamp.com/album/nuclear-fallout-capital-ruins
I didn't touch the music that plays in the endgame slides due to liking it too much, however I did change the music for when the player exits the vault, dies and levels up. I tried my best to make sure the audio levels are close to the vanilla tracks.
A Majority of the music was created by me, but the music not composed by me is from Silent Hill Downpour, Freesound.org, as well as additional royalty free music. In depth credits can be found in Permissions and Credits.
