I actually didn't even know that there were christmas celebrations in the game. xD I missed that day anyway, and then, if it was Summer irl it wouldn'T feel right anyway... At least I can have a look at it now.
For those wondering what this does, it sets the ingame day to December 25.
On christmas day, and ONLY that day, Diamond City is decorated with christmas stuff. Christmas lights, trees, etc. Kinda nifty if you missed the day. I don't know why they didn't do it from like, 12/15 through 1/1, like most not insane people do. But then again, the commonwealth is in perpetual halloween decorations....
As the author said, you have to be outside Diamond City for this to work properly, walking out to the main gate is enough.
Thank you for this! I'll try to test it soon. I completely missed Christmas when it actually happened in game but wanted to see it, and now I can easily just for fun.

Then press ~ while in game and type bat MerryChristmas
Alternatively if you would like to achieve the same effect just type in Set GameDay to 25 and Set GameMonth to 12
