About this mod

A brief explanation on fixing purple tinted glass lens of weapon reflex sights.

Permissions and credits
The problem
It's a missing texture path, simple as that. Every time I open one of these BGEM materials for the sight's lens, I see the same thing - Environment Mapping is enabled, but there is nothing in the field(path) for Envmap Texture. I have no information why different cards don't render this the same way, but it's making it hard for mod authors to pinpoint the exact source of the problem.

The solution
No need to delete meshes. You can disable the Environment Mapping, but in my opinion, the best solution is to add an Envmap Texture, like this one: Shared/Cubemaps/OutsideDay01.dds. The Env. Mapping gives fake reflections based on the cubemap, which is selected for Envmap Texture. The glass looks better with this option enabled.

Fun facts
If you have a Normal Texture(normal map) for your glass(I don't mean only for weapon sights), that's another reason for the Environment Mapping to be enabled. It's best to be combined with Envmap Mask Texture. Any scratches/damage on the glass will be visible when you look at the reflections from the Env. Mapping.

Example

The download has override of
Data\Materials\Effects\ReflexGlass10mm.BGSM.BGEM
as a loose file. This is the material for the lens of the 10mm pistol reflex sight. It has the Envmap Texture removed on purpose, but Environment Mapping still enabled. It's sort of a proof for the root of the problem, because the purple tint will be visible for AMD cards only.
