About this mod

these rubble textures are vanilla style fully compatible but offer higher resolution, optimized normal map and more detail and sharpness. i use this mod in my setup. compare with my images.

the rubble textures are kind of forgotten in mods and still not so sharp. i tried to change that at least in my game with an acceptable result.
maybe some of you can use this mod. do not use with a potatoe pc!
it is a high res texture replacer for the main rubble textures. not fancy but sharper and with more detail compared to vanilla and other textures i tested before.
it adds an extra higher res and sharpened mipmap layer to the image that reduces blur and offer a little more detail if you stand close to an object - in this case the rubble and trash.
i also cut out some ugly over the top details (blurry tarmac debris).

i recommend to combine this mod with this trash and rubble mod if you do not like the trash appearance in fo4 while maintaining the HD rubble part of my mod.

i warmly recommend flaconoil 4k and Natural Landscapes mod. let them overwrite some of my redundant textures and use my mod in addition (about 50 textures)

final solution for the blurry textures bug for all setups

==================================================================================================================

to solve general fallout 4 texture loading problems and to see all details of your textures you need to check your settings:
(use this with caution if you you prefer high fps instead of full quality texture display and image.
if you encounter general problems with blurry or not fully loaded textures (including rubble) you may try these ini-settings (with sufficient vram) :

fallout.ini
[General]

bAllowTextureFallback=0 (enables textures ot become blurry again, only good for small vram scenarios)
iTexMipMapSkip=0
bForceUpdateDiffuseOnly=0 (normal map will also be updated)
iTextureUpgradeDistance1=7500
iTextureUpgradeDistance0=5000
iTextureDegradeDistance1=7500
iTextureDegradeDistance0=5000
fUpdateTextureTime=1.0000 (alters amout of time textures can be fully loaded)
bEnableFileCaching=0  (very important for correct mipmap load without quality loss!)

check this also for modmanager and documents\mygames\fallout4 folder!
check also that there is no double entry that enables a bogus setting by accident!

these settings are performance sensitive. so be aware that you get highest possible visual fidelity at the cost of some performance.
for that can use reduced settings. increase the four distance values by 2000 if you encounter blurry texture appearance as above listed.

avoid enboost/enb since it may introduce additional mem loading and other minor stutter glitches. i tested on nvida and amd. at least make your own tests.

no objects, material or meshes changed so no hassle with previs/precombines, fps drops, other visual anomalies or ctd.
