    Alright, so the "fast enter" animation is proving a bit more problematic than the exit one. Sure, it works, but there's some seriosus missalignment, and you kinda jump a foot behind the armor, then it randomly warps to you after the animation is finished.

    I think I know why - there must be something about the combat state that alters the way the paired animation alignment works. This problem didn't occur for the "quick exit" animation because the devs made a version for exiting the armor quickly that was literally designed for an "out of combat" state, and that's what I used.

    So essentially, there are a few animation files I found for these, the one that worked for exiting quickly was named "quickexittostand.hkx". There isn't one of these for "quick to enter". I tested what happens if I tried to replace the normal "out of combat" exit animation with the normal "in combat" exit animation, and the same misalignment effect occurs.

    So in short, I will upload what I have if you can put up with the animation not looking terrific for the large speed increase in putting the armor on, but there's not really anything else I can do without knowing more about how these paired animations work (and being able to edit the animations directly, no doubt).

    I noticed a couple folks saying the entry animation on the first set you find in concord doesn't work and ive confirmed that here with a fresh game. I know i've properly moved everything that needed or didn't need to be and i know it's all working properly it seems to just be this first set of power armor and idk what could cause it. Furthermore i was getting ctd's upon reloading the save near the armor but i can't confirm this mod caused that at all. Will return with a n update if i find any information about the animation not working or if it stretches to more than just this first set in concord. (Will also make note if i can figure out what5 the ctd was caused by.)

      There are a zillion reasons why this game could be crashing. I can't see why Bethesda would have used different animation files for the first suit of power armor (especially since you can bring it with you for the rest of the game). I think it's probably more likely that something is not installed correctly.

      Check another suit of power armor somewhere else. If it's also not working then you didn't install the mod correctly for some reason or another.

      Even if it was somehow not working for the first suit, if the animations were not even being loaded at all then there's simply no way that this mod could be the cause of your crashing.

    Does this require fresh start or something? Im in concord doing minigun part of first quest... Doesn't work at all when enter/exit my first PA..... Literally slow AF original animation

      I don't recall there being anything special about the first suit of power armor. Make sure you put the folder in the right place?

      is this your first mod? if so, i'd recommend searching a youtube video on how to start modding fallout 4. there are a few things you need to do first

    What happened with the mod? I remember when I used it couple years ago enter animation works good, but now its broken

      The fast enter animation never worked correctly with simple file swaps, which is what my mod does. If you want fast enter to line up well, check out the replacement mod I recommended in the description.

    You seem so focussed on the fast exit...
    I've never been bothered by the time it takes to exit power armor, it's the tediously long entry animation that bugs me! Looking at this I can't tell if it will or won't do anything for the ENTRY animation.

      Yes, it does. There's even a video in the stickied post at the top showing that...

      However, this mod is out of date as it was made before the Creation Kit was released. I highly recommend downloading one of the plugin versions instead as the animations are a lot smoother that way (see links in the description).

    Umm bro I got a little problem I kinda accidentally extract it to my New Vegas directory and I don't know the files when I launch my NVSE because I have other mods my now doesn't work I'm not sure if it's this mod because I really want to play but I checked the other mods if it's some mods but yeah can u help me???

      I can't imagine files from this mod being placed in the New Vegas data folder would do anything. The only way that could be a problem would be if some of the file names and directory paths are identical, and that is extremely unlikely.

    Do we have the ability yet to use key combo actions to trigger specific things?
    What i mean, if i hold shift when trying to exit PA, it will do it fast, if i want to exit normally i just exit the usual manner?
    And same for enter. If i'm entering while in sprint mode, it would do it fast cuz i'm in a hurry. Or would that require script extender?

      I have no idea. Custom keymapping is something that F4SE is supposed to be able to handle, but this is out of my range of expertise.
