Severely reduces ( doesn't remove) the recoil from Laser Weapons due to the nature of how lasers work in real life.

The basic principle behind laser weapons is that, unlike their ballistic counterparts, they don't shoot actual projectiles, but instead transfer massive heat to the target.
Projectiles work by transfering kinetic energy, using the mass from the bullet at high speed to inflict damage on a small area. The recoil comes from the explosion of the ammunition, that releases hot gases inside the weapon's receiver, pushing the bullet through the barrel and, as described by Newton's Third Motion Law, creating an opposite force to the opposite direction.
Laser weapons use pure energy to transfer large amounts of energy (and for consequence, heat), causing the target to burn or melt. Lasers are composed of pure light, made of photons, which have extremely low mass. Since the force of the recoil is proportional to the projectiles weight, and photons have a negligible mass for practical purposes on a weapon's application, it won't cause any significant recoil.
What COULD cause recoil, however, is the sudden heating of the air inside the gun, causing the air to expand and being displaced rapidly from the gun. That's the reason I haven't removed the recoil at all.
