    I really loved this:

    Q. Does it break pre-combines?
    A. I don't know, I really don't care.

So many folks get their knickers in a twist over the merest possibility of losing a few fps for a few moments.

While it can be a very minor issue in unbusy sparse/rural locations, broken precombines would be an FPS hit anywhere else and definitely a major FPS killer anywhere downtown or very busy like this. You might have a 12 core cpu and powerful enough gpu that can overcome such a hit, but bear in mind far, far more will be playing the game on 4 core cpus and gpus like gtx 1060/1050ti/1650, and broken precombines (in all but the sparse areas) will, unfortunately, quite often be a significant FPS issue.

Why does the workbench say you need to clear enemies...what enemies ?

    Hi.

I open 3 new games yet with this mod and i think when this mod is active, Silver Shroud quest is closed, because quest not active and door of Ken Connelly is closed.

Is a nice mod, so perhaps better do first Silver Shroud and later load this mod.

    Greetings.

Yeah, often wondered about why they even bothered to put that there. I found it once by accident, and thought it was cool at first until you realize there is nothing there..
A lot of trouble for nothing really.

Crunch must have been ugly at Bethesda.

Imagine being a level designer who spent a couple hours building this place, only to pass it off to the quest team who then put it at the very bottom of their "To Do" list.

Man oh man .. memories .. lol .. I remember the first time I heard of this spot and it took me (seemingly) forever to get up there and into it .. and then after that it was Jetpacks-only .. lol ..

.. thanks for the trip down memory lane .. awesome mod .. going on my "must have" quality of life mods ..

.. AND .. fwiw .. LOVE the Minute Men addition(s) .. nice to be able to approach the area with some safety and security (and dead enemies) .. that whole continually re-spawning mutant nest is a serious thorn and pain in the arse .. continually .. forever and ever .. because the "Great Green Jewel" doesn't have the brain power of a bag of Cheetos to figure out how the shut it down .. lol .. thanks for solving that for them ..

I think this is a good effort and appreciate the easier way to get there.  This is not meant to be mean, but a couple of suggestions:  1) the door to Diamond City opens in Geneva's room seems a little strange.  Maybe it should open in the office area at the end of hallway.  That area does not seem to be used for anything.  2) Maybe a version that does not bundle the Minutemen to the rescue.  They kill all the enemy before I can get there.  And 3) maybe a workbench in the bar area.  It does not need to be a settlement so maybe it could be like Home Plate which would allow people to make it a livable area for their character.  But overall I think it is a very good effort.

Yeah, choosing an appropriate location for the door was done based on spacially where the two were. I thought about the office area, and was initially going to put it there. But decided it should go where I put it.
I thought a workbench would be good in that area as well, to make it into a better player home. So I've added a second download file with a workbench as an option. That only took a few moments to do so it's a freebie.
Removing the Minutemen2the Rescue would be quite hard, as the Mods were made using that file as the Active file as I initially made the mod for me and when friends liked it I decided to release it publicly. So I'd have to recreate it from scratch, and that would take a few hours. I can do it, but I'd definitely charge fee for service to do it. It would take about 2-3 hours work so would cost about $128-$198 Australian dollars if you'd like that done.

If I can find the time, I  could try again to learn how to mod.  Funny thing I have worked IT help desk for 30 years with my company, I can build computers from scratch, but for some reason I have a hard time trying wrap my head around  creating a mod.  I gave up a couple of years ago and just look for ways to make changes I want within the game. Thank you for the workbench, I just downloaded that version.  Your mod is much appreciated.

Hey, I also worked on a computer help desk for almost that time.
The creation kit does take a while to learn, no doubt about that, but once you get the hang of moving and rotating objects it is not that hard. I highly recommend it. There's lots of good videos on Youtube on how to use it.
I'm glad you like the mod with the work bench. The location makes for a good player home.

I had no idea there was a hidden dinner :O I think one of the mods I use which improves cooking for survival makes bubblegum give you adhesive when you it, so seeing that huge pile there is really tempting.

Ohhh, well then check out the small hotdog stand under the stands that you can find outside of Diamond City's north west corner. There's more.

You've probably wandered past that hot dog stand plenty of times and not realised it was a hot dog stand. I just call it that because it's some sort of food stand and I seem to recall a hot dog sign there. I just checked and it actually says Soda Pops. It's under the north west corner of Diamond City's exterior, and has a couple of cash registers on the counter.

There's also a floor sign to the left of the counter that says Ice Cream.  Also, if you get on the roof of the diner and then head toward the Diamond city door.  You will find a skeleton, don't remember was was next to him.  but keep going to the edge of the building.  You will have to jump of the metal wall but you will find some ammo back in there.  and if you go to the Roof on the opposite side of Diamond City across form the Diner you can find a bag of loot with a crate also.  To get this last one you will need Power Armor with a jet pack

Yep. I copied the loot bag and crate and put it in the hidden diner. Much easier to get to now. But the original is still there. :)

I went back there only last night (AEDT) using turbine equipped power armor. It will be good to be able to check it out earlier in the game. Thank you!

You're welcome. Yeah, even with the jet pack it's hard to get up there.

I used so much jet to get up there back in the day I became an addicted jet physcopath. Hit that jet jump miss hit that jet jump miss hit that jet jump make it but fall off. Jets a hell of a drug.

It looks good, thank you.  I have a question though, can you build on the roof on either side of the diner.  Not on top of the diner but, on the same level as the diner.

Um, I don't know. You can certainly mod there.
